We provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.
Rotary club of Mulanthuruthy was inaugurated on 6th October, 2001 by the then Honourable Minister Late Shri. T. M. Jacob. The charter was presented to us on 22nd January, 2002 by the then District Governor Rtn. MPHF K.A. Kuriachan. Our club was sponsored by Rotary Club of Muvattupuzha when Rtn. MPHF Rajan George was the GSR.
Our club was chartered with a group of 33 members and today we have grown to close to 40 members. Over the years we have done various service projects like building houses for the needy, upgrading facilities in schools and hospitals, providing clean drinking water, providing medical assistance to the needy and various other services that have helped many in our community,
For many years Rotary International, using all means, tried to eradicate polio from the face of the earth and it was successful in doing so. Rotary Mulanthuruthy always held the Pulse Polio project very close to its heart and did everything to make this project a grand success.
We have sponsored four clubs so far:
Tripunithura Royal
Puthencruz
Kizhakkambalam
Piravom Pambakuda River Valley
We will strive to bring in more members into the club and sponsor more clubs so that we can reach out to more people in our community who need our help. We meet every Friday at 8:00 PM at our own club to discuss about various projects - new, ongoing and completed. We also use this opportunity to instill knowledge, leadership skills and oratory skills into our members. Almost every month we also make sure we meet and have a good time with our extended family members and special invitees.
