Ruichuan Huang(黄瑞川)
I'm a third year undergraduate student in the School of the Gifted Young at the University of Science and Technology of China, majoring in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics.
My research interests mainly lie in optimization theory, with a specific emphasis on areas such as non-convex optimization and stochastic optimization. Alongside this, I am keenly interested in the fields of machine learning, reinforcement learning, and LLMs. I am particularly motivated to explore how foundational optimization principles and innovative ideas can be applied to these research.
Currently, I am very fortunate to be advised by Professor Ahmet Alacaoglu at the University of British Columbia and Professor Jiawei Zhang at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
