The RCB is a public broadcaster. The goals and tasks of public broadcasting is to make a contribution to the formation of individual and public opinion and thus to contribute to the free democratic basic order. Politically and economically, RCB is independent. The legal basis is the RCB Treaty, which regulates the tasks, organisation and social control of the broadcasting corporation. The treaty defines, among other things, the universal service mandate and the programming mandate.
As a non-profit institution, RCB has the right to self-government. Self-governing bodies are the Broadcasting Council, the Administrative Council, and the Director-General. RCB is not a subject to jurisdiction of any Roblox Group, whether it be a Ro-State, or Military, or others. The tasks and powers of the organs are laid down in the RCB Treaty. Further regulations and implementing provisions are contained in the RCB Statutes and the RCB Rules of Procedure. RCB does not have an owner; it belongs to the general public.
