As much as teenagers hate being treated like children, many are not capable of accepting the responsibilities and consequences of adulthood. It is imperative that their time in high school is used to develop life skills that will make them successful in their post-secondary lives. Students in Mr. B's classroom develop these skills by being held accountable for their actions in relation to their maturity. Freshmen and Sophomores will receive multiple opportunities to correct their behavior before being punished in increasing severity. Juniors and especially Seniors will receive fewer of these opportunities and will be punished to the fullest degree as they are closer to being "real" adults.
