I am a health economist whose research uses causal inference methods to evaluate how public policies and institutional constraints shape healthcare delivery, provider behavior, and patient outcomes. I earned my PhD in Economics from Georgia State University and am currently a postdoctoral fellow in health economics and policy at Tulane University’s Department of Economics and the Murphy Institute. I am currently on the 2025-2026 academic job market.

November 11, 2025: My co-authored paper, “Automation and Diverging Health Risks”, is now under R&R at the American Journal of Health Economics.
October 2, 2025: My job market paper has been substantially revised. The previous title, “The Weekend Effect on Inpatient Outcomes: Evidence from Delayed Procedures in Emergency Admissions,” has been updated to “When the Clock Ticks: Causal Effects of Surgical Delay on Inpatient Outcomes.” The most recent version can be accessed here.
September 16, 2025: “Expanded Prescription Coverage and Opioid Use Disorders: Evidence from Medicare Part D” was accepted for publication in Economics & Human Biology. This was previously listed as R&R in the older version of my CV.
