Post-Imperiatrix Literature [LOCKED]
I don't feel as if this is relevant enough to be featured on the page itself, but I do think it's interesting that this ballad is one of the few pieces of literature traced to be immediately post the Imperiatrix regime...... but doesn't feature a single mention of the Imperiatrix herself. Not even the implication of her presence. Strange, right? - Eki (55534.34664.7543523) 23:23:183, 8-40-6-33452 (UGC)
uhhhhh I'd argue that the overwhelming theme of the ballad is 'don't break the laws of Time for no good reason, idiots'. which smacks pretty heavily of post-Imperiatrix influence. I mean, come on, it's so clearly a direct response to the societal fears of the time. yknow, like most Pythian ballads. - ANONYMOUS (34535.66532.1112244) 94:21:693, 8-48-6-33452 (UGC)
I'm almost certain I've read a dissertation on that exact topic. I'll see if I can track it down. It might actually make a good addition to the main page - Rosillavestri (84232.8443.6564342) 96:22:111, 8-10-8-33452 (UGC)
if we ever get it unlocked you mean - Archivist Cinna (94235.44433.7543465) 96:29:269, 8-10-8-33452 (UGC)
HA not likely - Archivist Javlo (53423.65423.7543323) 97:01:234, 8-10-8-33452 (UGC)
Okay, but that's just empirically not true. Like not the bit about 'don't break Time, moron' (it's hard to argue that bit) but it's not about post-Imperiatrix fears, it's about Prydonians being idiots. Everyone knows that. - Cavix (29342.69372.8585593) 03:42:111, 8-01-7-33452 (UGC)

You're no fun. - The Corsair (05933.65437.9575832) 05:87:235, 8-01-7-33452 (UGC)
Prydonians are idiots, though. Like, I agree with Goneril on principle but also Prydonians are idiots. It's a true fact. Let's all just stop denying that already. - Eki (55534.34664.7543523) 06:03:444, 8-01-7-33452 (UGC)
wasn't Pandora a Prydonian? Why can't it be both? - ANONYMOUS (43453.66677.3456784) 06:27:421, 8-01-7-33452 (UGC)
Oh my Founders does nobody pay attention in Gallifreyan History anymore? Pandora was from a pre-chapterhouse society, you uneducated lump of Vortex waste. She couldn't have been a Prydonian because Prydonians didn't exist. - Commander Colliss (40235.44423.4446434) 20:32:543, 8-07-7-33452 (UGC)
Okay, but: Prydonian or not, Pandora could get it. I think we can all agree on this. - Epsilon Delta (85423.54323.5432345) 44:23:523, 8-22-7-33452 (UGC)

Entry locked for editing, please assist [LOCKED]
Can someone please unlock the page so we can change the section under Controversies re: Archivist Lysander's research being ill-regarded? It's not very objective or analytical, and hardly befitting of a well-respected repository of knowledge such as this one. - ANONYMOUS (93423.0444.3942758) 10:22:112, 8-10-8-33452 (UGC)

Rayla's in modern media [LOCKED]
Not to be yet another person begging for this page to be reopened for editing, but I'm here to beg that we reopen the page for editing. Specifically in regards to modern adaptations of the ballad, because the entry seems to be strangely empty in that regard even though there's so many of the Otherf****ing things. The only nursery rhyme with more unnecessary picture books and holomations is Rassilon's Tower. Modern Adaptations subheading y/n? - Archivist Cinna (94235.44433.7543465) 25:16:023, 8-16-8-33452 (UGC)
wholeheartsed yes, I think it's very needed here, I remember having a picture book of Rayla's TARDIS when I was a Time Tot. the illustrations were gorgeous but I can't for the lives of me remember who the artist or author were. anyone remember this one? I seem to remember Rayla was wearing Patrex robes which always struck me as a weird choice. A Patrex would never crash his TARDIS like that. - Castellan Vannildidrarthidrem (49534.22232.9576492) 27:12:543, 8-16-8-33452 (UGC)
Agreed, Rayla couldn't be more of a Prydonian if he tried - The Corsair (05933.65437.9575832) 27:17:234, 8-16-8-33452 (UGC)
Please don't bring this debate up again. I've lost enough centuries of my life to this discussion - Goneril (57843.87635.9965432) 27:19:231, 8-16-8-33452 (UGC)
and you'll lose more by the time I'm done with you - The Corsair (05933.65437.9575832) 27:21:543, 8-16-8-33452 (UGC)
Hey, I might actually remember this book? The Patrex thing always struck me as weird too. I seem to recall a two-page spread featuring Rayla falling backwards through the Vortex...? I wish I could remember it better. - Tau (62831.85307.1795868) 27:19:335, 8-16-8-33452 (UGC)
YES that's the one! do you by any chance happen to have a copy still? it's been six regenerations since I last saw it and I'd love to see it now that I'm no longer colorblind -- Castellan Vannildidrarthidrem (49534.22232.9576492) 27:27:231, 8-16-8-33452 (UGC)
I'm visiting my House for a business transaction in a few days. No guarantees, but I might have time to stop by the House Vaults and see if I can find it - and if so, upload it. If it's as good as I remember, I think everyone ought to see it. - Tau (62831.85307.1795868) 28:17:230, 8-16-8-33452 (UGC)
does anyone remember the really creepy version that used to play on Vidcast News . the one with the blood and rot verse ? i always thought that one implied Rayla's TARDIS murdered him horribly but nobody else seemed to remember it , i started to think i was going crazy . anyone ? - Trumid (30492.39475.4843294) 29:01:002, 8-17-8-33452 (UGC)
Entry still locked for editing? [LOCKED]
So, I get that it's probably a matter of vandalism and edit wars etc causing the entry to be locked up, but someone still needs to sort out the History and Manuscripts section. I know the recent Brightshore discovery has some additional information that would fit well there (and perhaps a citation for the Lady Portia quote while we're at it??) - does anybody know what's up with the current Matrix editing policy? Come to think of it, I've noticed a lot of Rassilonian-era entries being shut down/locked up recently; can't help but feel like there's some sort of trend there. - Jevlax (83742.23183.4323317) 20:11:785, 8-18-8-33452 (UGC)
I believe the Keeper was replaced quite recently. His updated Matrix Privacy Policy can be found here in full, it should answer at least a few of your questions. - Goneril (57843.87635.9965432) 12:28:989, 8-19-8-33452 (UGC)
Thank you...I feel like I should be more concerned about the fact that Rassilon's apparently been re-resurrected. But mainly, I just want to know when the page is going to be unlocked so we can finish citing the History Section properly. Can the Keeper please assist? - Jevlax (83742.23183.4323317) 20:45:782, 8-19-8-33452 (UGC)
Hello???? Keeper??? - Jevlax (83742.23183.4323317) 18:12:653, 8-20-8-33452 (UGC)
At least the LAST Keeper was proactive with her edit policy. This is just stupid. - Jevlax (83742.23183.4323317) 18:23:543, 8-20-8-33452 (UGC)
That's it, I'm done. [LOCKED]
yeah, i'm locking the talk page too. you people are insufferable. no longer feeling even remotely guilty about the complete destruction of reality, up to and including this planet. see ya. - The Keeper (35566.3333.9929222) 23:42:243, 8-20-8-33452 (UGC)
THE KEEPER (35566.3333.9929222) has perma-locked entry Talk:Rayla's TARDIS for editing. (Reason: too busy consuming reality to keep tabs on any of this bullshit)
