Ray Mouse ("we," "our," or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our Wear OS application.
1. Information Collection and Use
Ray Mouse does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information or user data.
The App is designed to function as a Bluetooth HID (Human Interface Device) controller. All processing of sensor data and input occurs locally on your device in real-time.
2. Permissions and Data Usage
The App requires specific permissions to function. Here is how they are used:
Bluetooth & Bluetooth Connect/Scan: Used solely to discover and connect to your target device (PC, Tablet, or Phone) to act as a remote mouse/controller. We do not store your device's connection history on external servers.
Sensors (Gyroscope/Accelerometer): Used to translate your wrist movements into mouse cursor movement (Air Mouse mode). This data is processed locally and discarded immediately after use.
High Sampling Rate Sensors: Used to ensure smooth and accurate cursor tracking.
Wake Lock: Used to prevent the watch from sleeping while you are actively using the App to control a device.
wifi / internet : Used to find and manage Samsung TV as a wifi remote
3. Data Storage
The App saves certain configuration settings locally on your Wear OS device, such as:
Sensitivity and smoothing preferences.
The Bluetooth address of the last connected device (to facilitate quick re-connection).
This data remains on your device and is not shared with us or any third parties.
4. Third-Party Services
The App does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or cloud storage. Because the App does not require Internet permission, it is technically incapable of transmitting your data to any external server.
5. Children’s Privacy
Since we do not collect any data, our App does not knowingly collect information from children.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
