Privacy Policy
Jobs in Germany (Android App)
RAVIAN IT | Ravian Matrix Systems
Effective date: 8 October 2026
1. Introduction and Scope
Welcome to Jobs in Germany, an Android job-search application made available
through Google Play. The app helps users discover employment opportunities across
Germany, search by job title or keyword, browse categories and cities, save favourite
job listings, and follow links to external websites where they can apply.
This Privacy Policy explains how personal data and technical information may be
processed when you use the app. It applies to the Jobs in Germany mobile
application, not automatically to separate websites or services, which may have their
own privacy notices.
The app is designed to provide its main features without registration, a personal
applicant profile, or submission of a CV. Nevertheless, using an internet-connected
app involves some processing of technical information, and integrated service
providers may process data as described below.
Google Play may separately process installation, store and diagnostic information in
connection with app distribution and may provide developers with aggregate app-
performance reports in accordance with its own privacy practices.
We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection
Regulation (GDPR), the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), the German
Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG), and other
applicable laws.
2. Controller and Developer Details
The controller responsible for processing personal data in connection with the app is:
Arslan Saleem
Sole proprietor trading as Ravian Matrix Systems

Business email: info@ravian-matrix.de
Business website: https://www.ravian-matrix.de
Telephone: +49 1522 3834292
App name: Jobs in Germany
App branding: RAVIAN IT
“RAVIAN IT” is an app branding label; the legal controller is Arslan Saleem as
identified above.
For privacy questions or requests, contact info@ravian-matrix.de.
3. No Registration or Direct Applications
Users can search for jobs, browse listings, view available application links, and use
the app's core functionality without registering or signing in.
We do not require users to supply their name, email address, phone number, password,
CV, or other application documents to create an account.
The app does not provide its own applicant account database, direct CV-upload
facility, or in-app recruitment and application-management service.
Applications are made through the independent websites to which the app links.
4. Categories of Information and Data Sources
Depending on the features used and the app's technical implementation, the following
information may be processed:
Search and filter information: Keywords, job titles, categories, chosen cities,
locations entered for searching, and other search parameters.
Locally saved information: Favourite job references, saved job details, and
app preferences stored on the device where the save feature is available.
--- PAGE 3 ---
Technical information: IP address and connection information, device and
operating-system type or version, application version, request time, error
reports, and security or diagnostic data necessary for service delivery.
Third-party integration information: API requests and responses, and
limited technical metadata processed by job-data or infrastructure providers.
Advertising or analytics information, if corresponding SDKs are actually
integrated and enabled: App interactions, device or advertising identifiers,
and diagnostic or performance information, subject to the provider's technical
operation and lawful permissions or consent.
Communications: Name, email address, message contents and attachments, if
a user voluntarily contacts us.
We do not request special categories of personal data, such as health or religious
information, for ordinary job searching. Please do not include unnecessary sensitive
personal details in search terms or emails.
The app's request to search for a city does not, by itself, mean that the app requires
access to your device's precise GPS location.
Any device permissions actually requested must be connected to a disclosed feature
and the app's current configuration.
5. Purposes and Legal Bases of Processing
To the extent that the information concerned is personal data, we process it for the
following purposes and, where applicable, on the following legal bases:
Displaying job listings, handling searches and filters, and delivering
requested app functionality: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate
interest in providing a functional and accessible job-information service.
Article 6(1)(b) GDPR may apply where processing is necessary for a
contractual service requested by the data subject.
--- PAGE 4 ---
Operating, troubleshooting and protecting the app and related technical
services: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interests in security,
stability, error correction and prevention of misuse.
Responding to enquiries: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for general communications;
Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where necessary for pre-contractual measures or
contractual performance; Article 6(1)(c) GDPR where a legal obligation
applies.
Optional advertising, measurement or analytics involving consent-
requiring identifiers or device storage: Article 6(1)(a) GDPR where consent
is required. Other processing may have a different lawful basis where legally
permissible and accurately disclosed.
Compliance with legal obligations: Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
We do not use the absence of account registration to suggest that no personal data can
be processed.
The legal basis is determined by the actual purpose and data flow.
6. Job Listings and External API Providers
Jobs in Germany obtains or displays job information from external employment
sources.
Depending on current or future authorized integrations, these may include public
employment services, employer career sites, recruitment services, commercial job
platforms, licensed feeds and third-party APIs.
The information may include job titles, employers, cities and locations, descriptions,
qualifications, working arrangements, salary information where available, publication
dates, and original application links.
--- PAGE 5 ---
Some job advertisements may include the professional name or contact information of
an identifiable person. Such content is handled in accordance with applicable legal
obligations and the relevant source's usage rights.
Search keywords, filters and other request parameters may be sent to our technical
backend or directly to a job-data provider, depending on how a particular app version
retrieves listings.
The receiving provider may also process standard network connection information
such as IP addresses, where technically applicable.
We seek to limit transfers to what is needed to retrieve the requested job results.
An API provider's own processing may be governed by its privacy notice and
contractual arrangements.
We remain responsible for the processing for which we are the controller, including
relevant assessments of provider arrangements and international transfers.
External job information can change or expire. Please check the original
advertisement before relying on salary, availability, location or application
requirements.
7. Links to External Job Application Websites
When you select Apply Now, View Job, or a similar action, the app may open an
external employer, recruiter or job-platform website, either in a browser or through an
in-app web view.
The external site may receive your IP address and other connection information.
It may also request registration, use cookies or similar technologies, and ask you to
provide a CV, contact information, or other application documents.
The external provider is generally responsible for its own independent processing,
subject to the applicable allocation of legal responsibilities.
We do not receive or store information you submit directly to an independent
employer or job platform merely because you accessed that site from this app.
Please review the destination provider's privacy information before applying.
If external pages are displayed within an app-controlled web view, any tracking or
storage technology deployed by that integration must be assessed under applicable
law and Google Play requirements.
8. Locally Saved Jobs and Device Storage
--- PAGE 6 ---
Where the app offers favourites or saved jobs, job references, listing details and
relevant preferences may be stored locally on your device without creating an online
user account.
The purpose is to allow you to access saved jobs and preferences later.
Local storage is not intended to identify you personally or create a server-side
applicant profile.
You can usually delete such information by removing saved items where that function
is available, clearing the app's storage through Android settings, or uninstalling the
app.
Exact deletion behaviour depends on the implementation.
Device-level backup or restore services may separately retain app data according to
your Android and account settings unless excluded by the app's configuration.
To the extent that placing or accessing information on your device is governed by §
25 TDDDG, strictly necessary storage may fall within the statutory exception.
Non-essential storage or access requires consent where the law so provides.
9. Advertising, Analytics and Third-Party
SDKs
The app may include advertising or analytics services in particular app versions.
These could include Google AdMob or other providers where such functionality is
enabled.
If advertising or analytics SDKs are installed and activated, the relevant providers
may process, depending on their products and settings, advertising identifiers, device
information, IP addresses, app interactions, diagnostic data and fraud-prevention
signals.
These data may be used for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, diagnostics
or app-performance analysis.
Where such integrations are active, we identify the relevant services and data
practices in our privacy disclosures and Google Play Data safety declarations.
Where legally required, optional processing, personalized advertising, or access to
non-essential device identifiers and storage will not begin before valid consent is
obtained.
Users must be able to withdraw consent where applicable.
--- PAGE 7 ---
This description of possible integrations does not establish that they are active in
every version of the app.
When active, the provider, data categories, purposes, legal basis, retention
information and applicable international-transfer arrangements must be specifically
disclosed.
Google's general privacy information is available at:
https://policies.google.com/privacy
10. Cookies, Identifiers, and Consent
Mobile apps do not rely only on conventional browser cookies.
SDKs, embedded web views, local storage and device identifiers may raise similar
privacy issues.
Under § 25 TDDDG, storing information on or accessing information already stored
on a user's device generally requires consent unless a statutory exception applies,
including where the operation is strictly necessary to provide a digital service
expressly requested by the user.
We do not regard installation of the app, use of its core features, or acceptance of
general terms as consent for optional tracking.
Where consent is legally required, we will request it through an appropriate
mechanism before activation and provide a way to withdraw it.
External websites reached through job links may operate their own cookies and
consent mechanisms.
Their independent processing is described in their respective privacy notices.
11. Sharing and Recipients
We do not sell users' personal data.
Depending on the actual app functionality, limited information may be processed by
or disclosed to the following categories of recipients:
Job-data API providers and employment-information services needed to
deliver search results.
--- PAGE 8 ---
Technical hosting, networking, security and diagnostic service providers
involved in running the app or any backend.
Advertising and analytics providers, only where the relevant services are
actually enabled.
External employers, recruiters and job platforms opened at the user's request.
Email service providers handling voluntary enquiries. Our business email is
hosted through Hostinger.
Public authorities or other recipients where disclosure is required by law.
A provider acting solely on our documented instructions may be a processor;
independent job websites generally process information for their own purposes.
The exact legal role and data flows depend on the service.
12. Retention and Deletion
We do not operate a registered user-account database or maintain applicants' CVs
through the app's basic job-search features.
Saved jobs and preferences stored locally generally remain on the device until they
are deleted by the user, app storage is cleared, or the app is uninstalled, subject to the
Android device's backup and restore settings.
Search requests and technical connection information may be processed transiently or
retained in technical logs by an app backend, job-data provider, or infrastructure
provider where applicable.
The precise retention periods depend on the actual service, provider contract and
configuration and must be limited to what is necessary for the relevant lawful purpose.
Emails sent voluntarily to us are retained for as long as needed to deal with the
enquiry, subject to lawful retention requirements.
--- PAGE 9 ---
Data processed under our responsibility will be erased or anonymized when no longer
necessary and no legal ground requires further retention.
For help exercising deletion rights concerning data under our control, email
info@ravian-matrix.de.
To delete data stored only on your device, use the app's available removal controls,
Android storage settings, or uninstall the app.
Requests involving an independent external provider may also need to be addressed to
that provider.
13. Security
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures, considering the nature of
the processing and the relevant risks, to protect personal data against unauthorized
access, alteration, disclosure or loss.
These may include encrypted network connections where supported, access
restrictions, security maintenance and limiting unnecessary processing.
No app, internet transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Independent third-party job sites are responsible for the security of their own services.
14. Children's Privacy
Jobs in Germany is intended for people exploring employment opportunities and is
not specifically directed at children.
The app does not require child or adult users to register an account.
We do not intentionally request personal information from children as part of core job
searching.
If we become aware of inappropriate collection of a child's personal data in
processing under our responsibility, we will review the circumstances and take legally
required measures.
This statement does not replace any separate Google Play age-rating, target-audience
or Families-policy obligations applicable to the published app.
15. Processing Outside the European Economic
Area
The app may interact with service providers that operate infrastructure outside
Germany or the European Economic Area (EEA), including in the United States.
--- PAGE 10 ---
This may concern job-data APIs, technical service providers, email infrastructure and
any enabled advertising or analytics services.
Where a transfer of personal data outside the EEA takes place under our responsibility,
it must comply with Chapter V GDPR.
Depending on the circumstances, the transfer may be covered by an applicable
European Commission adequacy decision, valid EU-US Data Privacy Framework
certification for the relevant recipient, or Standard Contractual Clauses under Article
46 GDPR with supplementary measures where required.
Processing in a third country may be subject to different laws, including rules on
access by public authorities.
We assess the applicable safeguards and seek to limit data processing to what is
necessary.
We cannot disclaim our GDPR duties merely because a third-party provider operates
internationally.
Information about applicable safeguards may be requested using our contact details
below.
16. Your Data Protection Rights
Subject to the applicable statutory conditions, you may have the right to:
Request access to personal data concerning you (Article 15 GDPR).
Have inaccurate data corrected (Article 16 GDPR).
Request erasure (Article 17 GDPR).
Request restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR).
Receive eligible data in a portable format (Article 20 GDPR).
--- PAGE 11 ---
Object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to certain processing
based on legitimate interests (Article 21 GDPR).
Withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future, where processing
relies on consent (Article 7(3) GDPR).
The exercise of these rights is not dependent on having an in-app account.
Because the app has no account-registration system, we may be unable to associate
technical records with a specific individual without additional information.
We will handle requests in accordance with the GDPR and normally respond within
one month, subject to lawful extensions.
Contact info@ravian-matrix.de to exercise your rights.
17. Right to Complain
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority under
Article 77 GDPR if you consider that the processing of personal data concerning you
infringes the GDPR.
For private-sector controllers based in Bavaria, the competent supervisory authority is
generally:
Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA)
Promenade 18
91522 Ansbach
Germany
Website: https://www.lda.bayern.de
You may also contact another competent supervisory authority in accordance with the
GDPR.
18. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the app, its technical services,
advertising or analytics integrations, legal obligations, or data-processing practices.
--- PAGE 12 ---
The current version will be available through the app and the publicly accessible
privacy-policy page linked from its Google Play listing.
If a change requires additional notice or consent, we will take the legally required
steps before the relevant new processing begins.
