I am a sign language linguist and interpreter. Currently, I am a postdoc at the Institute for Logic, Language and Computation at the University of Amsterdam, where I work on the project I can't hear you, could you repeat the question in sign language, please? (PI: Floris Roelofsen), aimed at studying the form and interpretation of questions across sign languages. Before, I was affiliated with the Department of Translation and Language Sciences at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, where I completed my PhD under the supervision of Josep Quer.
I am also a member of SignLab Amsterdam, a cross-faculty research lab at the University of Amsterdam, and LSC-Upf Actua, a global project aimed at researching, teaching and increasing knowledge about Catalan Sign Language (LSC).
I am interested in the morphology and semantics of sign languages. My research is concerned with nominal plurals, person marking, indefinites and interrogatives. While my empirical focus is on LSC, I am interested in the documentation and formal analysis of these topics from a typological perspective.
