I am currently pursuing PhD at the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering in IIT Kharagpur under the supervision of Prof. J. Dutta Majumdar (Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering) & Prof. C. S. Kumar (Department of Mechanical Engineering). I have been selected for the Prime Ministers Research Fellow (PMRF) with Lateral Entry on May 2020. My PhD work is concerned with the broad research area: "Development of Bond coat on superalloy by Laser Cladding and performances evaluation ".

I have completed my masters (MTech) in Manufacturing Technology specialization from Mechanical Engineering Department, NIT Agartala in 2019. I did my M.Tech project under the guidannce of Dr. Subrata Kumar Ghosh (Assistant Professor, ME dept.). Before that, I have done Bachelors of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal in 2017.

My research interests include : Laser assisted additive manufacturing, wear, corrosion and microstructural study of high temperature materials.
