Biography

Nanda Rani is a Ph.D. candidate at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur and working with Prof. Sandeep Kumar Shukla. Her research focuses on Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) Attribution. She also worked with Prof. Davide Balzarotti during her visit to the Digital Security Department at Eurecom Institute in Sophia Antipolis, France, as part of her PhD research. 

Before joining IIT Kanpur, she completed her Master’s in Cybersecurity (Computer Science & Engineering) from Defence Institute of Advanced Technology, under the supervision of Dr. Sunita Vikrant Dhavale. Additionally, she gained industry experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Persistent Systems (Pune) and worked as a research intern at National Critical Information Infrastructure Protection Centre (NCIIPC, New Delhi)
