Who Should Attend?   

Starting 5/1/2021, all new agency producers will be required to complete this training to be authorized to quote and bind any Farmers®, Foremost®, or Bristol West® business. 

Why Attend?  

Upon completion, you’ll better understand our products, systems, and resources.  

Here are some of the benefits of participating: 

• •  A foundational understanding of our Personal Lines products 

  •  Practicing how to use resources, like Ask Service Ops, to find answers to your questions 

  •  Hearing from successful agents and agency staff members about what is working in their agencies 

What to Expect 

1. 1.  Online courses that focus on Auto, Home, and Umbrella products. This will include coverages, benefits, discounts, and resources. 

   2.  Modules focused on quoting, servicing, and billing systems for Personal Lines products, including Express or PolicyCenter™. 

   3.  Where available, an introduction to key Life products. 

Next Steps 

First, you will need to enroll in the course. Take the very short Agency Activator Enrollment course linked here to let us know you’re interested.  You will be required to log-in to the Farmers system using your new credentials. 

There's not a lot of clarity in the follow-up on this, so you have to have faith, once you've watched the video, your request for the class has been automatically submitted for you. After watching it, if you have not gained access in 24 hours, let us know.  Since the writing of this - The University of Farmers has changed the way the Agency Activator works, we have not yet gained enough clarity on the new method to update here. Please let us know if you need help.

After the training access request has been approved, you can access the training by going to the Agency Dashboard, logging into the University of Farmers® Online, clicking the menu button in the upper-right-hand corner, and clicking on MindTickle. You will then see Agency Activator in the menu on the left-hand side of the screen. Clicking on Agency Activator will begin the training.
