Drugs in fingerprints
The toolbox-sized Hound system includes a front-end sniffer developed by Sandia for sample collection and a commercial chemical detector that works for both explosives and drugs.
Open to public research. To access the collection a patron must have the following information: collection number, box number, folder number and item number. The materials do not circulate and are available in USU's Special Collections and Archives. Patrons must sign and comply with the USU Special Collections and Archives Use Agreement and Reproduction Order form as well as any restrictions placed by the collector or informant(s).

The materials in the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering Collection date from 1985 (when the first Cowboy Poetry Gathering was hosted in Elko, Nevada) to the present. Throughout the years, Fife Folklore Archives faculty and staff have deposited their programs and posters and other NCPG generated materials in the Fife Folklore Archives. In 1993 Randy Williams organized the items into a file collection. In 2005, Ashley Purser reviewed the programs and sorted them by year and boxed and foldered them and created this finding aid. In August of 2005, Randy Williams added the NCPG posters to the collection and updated the finding aid.
Reference files contain newspaper clippings, brochures, flyers, photographs, correspondence, and similar materials that are too small to constitute a collection on their own. Files vary considerably in size, from just a few newspaper clippings to several folders of clippings, letters, memos, photographs, etc. These files may all be accessed on-site in the Archives & Special Collections (ASC) research room. The furor over the collection and use of Facebook user data for political purposes has resulted in Congressional hearings, regulatory investigations around the globe, action by state attorneys general, and lawsuits.
