This Privacy Policy applies to the Random Password Generator Chrome Extension. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through full technical transparency.
1. Information Collection and UseRandom Password Generator does not collect, track, transmit, or store any personal data, usage analytics, or generated credentials on external servers.
All operations—including password generation, label assignment, and entry saving—take place completely client-side within your browser.
2. Data Storage* Local Storage Only: Any passwords or labels you save within the extension are stored strictly on your local device using Chrome’s secure local storage API (chrome.storage.local).* No Cloud Sync: Your stored data is never uploaded to any cloud server, third-party database, or remote service.* Data Control: You maintain total control over your data. Deleting a saved password inside the extension permanently removes it from your local storage. Uninstalling the extension automatically deletes all locally stored data.
3. PermissionsThe extension requests only the minimum permissions necessary to function:* storage: Used solely to save and retrieve your custom password labels and settings locally on your computer.
4. Third-Party Services & Analytics* Zero Tracking: We do not use third-party analytics (such as Google Analytics), advertising networks, tracking pixels, or error-reporting SDKs.* Zero External Calls: The extension makes no network requests to external APIs or servers.
5. Changes to This PolicyIf this privacy policy is updated, the revision date at the top of this page will be updated accordingly. Because the extension operates entirely locally without user registration, any policy changes will remain strictly bound to our commitment to zero data collection.
