RPS School Improvement

Randolph Public School District, #45, is a Class 3 district located in northeast Nebraska whose community population is approximately 950. The district operates PK-6 and 7-12 attendance centers. Randolph Public Schools is operating on a modified 4-day school schedule. District strengths include a low teacher-student ratio, an experienced teaching staff, and an excellent staff development program that is supportive of the school improvement plan. Student achievement scores are generally above state and national averages. We have strong community support for the education system of the Randolph Public School district.

Randolph Public Schools is in year 4 of a 5-year cycle of school improvement. We currently have a District wide School Improvement Team as well as Professional Learning Communities (PLC’s) within our own staff. Each PLC is composed of a smaller group of teachers that have their own area of focus. Example areas of focus would be curriculum alignment to state standards and career preparation activities. There are also building level administrative groups with more specific areas of focus. We operate a MTSS system for grades K-12. The elementary focuses on Reading, PBIS, and SEL systems of MTSS. The 7-12 building currently focuses on Core Subject (Reading, Writing, Math, Science) and SEL systems of MTSS.
