Rana Shahout

I am a Postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University, working with Michael Mitzenmacher and Minlan Yu.

I develop theory-driven and ML-enhanced algorithms for optimizing data-intensive systems, with a focus on streaming, queueing, and LLM systems.

Short bio:

I received my Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science at Technion, advised by Roy Friedman. Before that, I worked at Mellanox (Nvidia now) as a senior software engineer. I also received my B.Sc. and M.Sc. from Technion.
