Hi, I'm Ramona Augustin, a postdoctoral researcher at the Leibniz-Institut für Astrophysik Potsdam (AIP)

I am studying the circumgalactic medium, combining observations and simulations.

Particularly I am interested in the connection between absorbers and their host galaxies,  the small scale structure of absorbing circumgalactic gas, and the detectability of circumgalactic emission with future instruments.
