Here are some water conservation actions that can be practiced:
Turn off the taps when not in use ie when brushing teeth, washing your wash, washing plates, etc. Try using a glass or a basin instead of running water
Every minute you spend in a power shower uses up to 17 litres of water . So keep your showers short, sweet and water-saving - you can even set a timer on your phone to help you keep track of time
Replace/attach your taps, shower heads, toilet, washing machine, etc. with water-saving devices
Don't overdo washing the car or watering the plants. Plan a schedule and check the weather.
