Weather and Climate Modeller, working as a scientist at the Indian Institute of Geomagnetism (IIG)My research focuses on the understanding of various scales of solar variability, the identification of their signatures in climate and weather systems, and the physical mechanisms that explain them.
I also work on rainfall microphysical processes, using both observations and modelling to improve model schemes.
Using both modelling and observations, I also study the interactions between land and atmosphere, and the coupling between the atmosphere and ocean.
Beyond my research, I also contribute to the fields of Mathematical Modelling, Machine Learning, and Data Analysis. These interdisciplinary skills enhance my ability to understand and interpret complex Earth system processes.
