The Caraga RAISE team, composed of project leaders and staff from Caraga State University, Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology, and Northeastern Mindanao State University, successfully completed the online training that began on June 11, 2024.
DOST-PCAARRD Executive Director Dr. Reynaldo Ebora highlighted the graduates' crucial role in driving innovation during the ceremony. "Your skills, creativity, and determination will undoubtedly shape the future of technology and drive innovation forward," he emphasized.
Assistant Regional Director of DOST Region 3, Ms. Belen Garcia, inspired the graduates by underscoring the importance of technology promotion in empowering communities.
Meanwhile, Engr. Lord Boy Silong, Technical Expert of CSU-TTLO, expressed the Mindanao graduates' gratitude for the valuable lessons learned during the training.Β
"We have learned so much about promoting our region's products," he shared.
The event brought together participants from various State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) nationwide, as well as consortium members like PhilRice, BFAR, and PCC.
The TPMS is a hybrid training program organized by DOST-PCAARRD to equip RAISE program staff with the skills needed to effectively promote market-ready technologies from their regions.
The graduates from Caraga are Engr. Lord Boy C. Silong, Ms. Marisol Jane M. Beray, Ms. Meycel C. Amarille, and Mr. Marvin Jay D. Campana from CSU; Engr. Luzminda S. Bacquial and Dr. Ivy S. Diaz from NEMSU; and Engr. Michael Sabugaa and Dr. Rodel L. Oclaret from ASSCAT.
