About our Team

Rain City Ropeworks is a West Seattle based performance and competition jump rope team including jumpers from West Seattle and the greater Seattle area. Our talented jumpers perform at festivals, schools and half time shows. We also compete locally, around the US, and we even sent five jumpers to the World Championships in 2023! Established 8 years ago, we now have approximately 36 kids ranging from 8-16 years old. We are led by world champion jumper and Cirque de Soliel performer, Rene Bibaud, and supported by our non-profit board.

About our Booster Club

Our 501(c)(3) booster club is led by a volunteer board and exists to ensure that financial aid is available as needed to support monthly expenses (coach fee, practice space), equipment, uniforms and travel expenses. 

Jump rope is inherently an accessible sport with little equipment required. But we want our team to be diverse and accessible to anyone.  To support this, our booster club helps our team to raise funds in support of financial aid and team building activities for all team members.
