That brings me to my idea, there is a program/app called Otter. This app allows you to upload voice notes from anywhere. It then transcribes those voice notes into text and surprisingly accurate too. You can even record directly from the app itself. Obviously it allows you to create files and teams to save data to more specific places.

Thank you Marie for pointing that out. I can already think about applying this. However, does this allow voice recordings to be dropped in a task or adding a voice note to a specific sub task? I.e. from whats app etc?

Not exactly what this post is about. We are talking about google assistant prompting evernote, so when we are driving or cannot touch our phone to open evernote create note go to voice memos, we would like to be able to get some notes written into Evernote. At the moment you can do this to Google Keep.

I just want to share my opinion on it.

Basically, in my honest opinion, the website it is a little bit clumsy and heavy and personally I think the app is better than the webapp because it is a dedicated thing, and I do not need to type the URL everytime in the bar in a browser.

Furthermore, it helps and remember me focusing and to partecipate on common voice because I see the icon.

The website is full of graphical effects (not needed) that personally I think they are useless.

In the end: the application is more oriented to help and focus Common Voice.

I have been spending a lot of time trying to easily add voice notes from my phone to Obsidian for those times I am just walking around and think of something.

I really wanted a way to just pull out my phone, say something, and have it save. If I cant do that in a couple of seconds I tend to lose my train of thought.

I basically use Tasker on my phone to trigger a voice memo. It then pushes the voice text to a webserver I built which appends a specific .md file with the voice text. The webserver then syncs with Google Drive to update the file across all my devices (this is why in the video it takes a few seconds to catch up).

VLC can actually play the .opus files, but oddly enough, I cannot open them by tapping on them. It does not give me the option to use VLC for it. I have to open VLC and then navigate to the folder containing the voice messages.

I've used apple music, Spotify, and tidal with Google assistant /android auto. And when asking to play an artist on android auto, all 3 of these services would proceed to play the music by that artist only, usually the top tracks of the requested artist.

I've checked for voicemails for my extension on the VOIP 3CX server and there are none there. I've dialed 99 and checked voicemail from the Zoiper app and there are none there.
