Railworks 4 IHH Port Road Steam Chapter 1
Railworks 4 IHH Port Road Steam Chapter 1 is a downloadable content pack for Train Simulator 2013, developed by Iron Horse House and distributed through their website. The pack features the Port Road Green route, which is based on the historical Portpatrick and Wigtownshire Joint Railway in Scotland. The route covers 90 miles of scenic countryside, from Castle Douglas to Stranraer and Portpatrick, with various branch lines and stations along the way. The pack also includes several steam locomotives and rolling stock, such as the LMS Stanier Class 5MT, the LNER Gresley Class A3, the LMS Stanier Class 8F, and the BR Standard Class 9F.
The pack consists of 10 scenarios, which are divided into two chapters. The first chapter covers the period from 1930 to 1950, when the Port Road was operated by the London, Midland and Scottish Railway (LMS) and the London and North Eastern Railway (LNER). The scenarios in this chapter include passenger and freight services, as well as some historical events, such as the evacuation of children during World War II and the arrival of Winston Churchill in Stranraer. The second chapter covers the period from 1950 to 1965, when the Port Road was part of the British Railways (BR) Scottish Region. The scenarios in this chapter include express and local passenger services, as well as some special trains, such as the Royal Train and the Fishguard Boat Train.
