You will promptly notify us of any unauthorized access to your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or present a security risk.
ReceptionistAI provides AI-powered receptionist services that may answer incoming calls, communicate with callers, capture caller information, identify caller intent, generate transcripts and summaries, and assist with appointment scheduling and other business workflows.
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes.
You may not:
Use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, threatening, or deceptive activities.
Use the Services to impersonate another person or organization without authorization.
Use the Services to collect sensitive information unlawfully.
Use the Services to harass, deceive, spam, or otherwise abuse callers.
Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or exploit the App or its underlying systems.
Attempt unauthorized access to our systems, APIs, accounts, or infrastructure.
Interfere with or disrupt the Services.
Use the Services to develop or operate a competing service where prohibited by applicable agreements.
Use the Services in violation of applicable telecommunications, privacy, recording, consumer-protection, or data-protection laws.
Use the Services for emergency services or emergency response unless expressly supported and authorized by us.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts or restrict access to the Services when we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.
ReceptionistAI uses artificial intelligence to understand caller requests, generate responses, capture information, summarize calls, and perform other automated tasks.
You acknowledge that:
AI-generated responses may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, inappropriate, or misunderstood.
The AI receptionist may misunderstand callers or provide incorrect information.
AI-generated summaries and extracted information may contain errors.
Appointment information or other actions performed by the AI may require human verification.
The Services should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional judgment where human judgment is required.
You are responsible for reviewing and configuring the AI receptionist appropriately for your business.
We do not guarantee that the AI receptionist will correctly understand or respond to every caller or request.
Depending on the features enabled by your account, ReceptionistAI may record, transcribe, analyze, and summarize telephone conversations.
You acknowledge that laws relating to call recording, monitoring, transcription, disclosure, and consent vary by jurisdiction.
If you use ReceptionistAI to handle calls, you are responsible for:
Complying with all applicable laws and regulations.
Providing callers with any legally required notices.
Obtaining any required consent for call recording, monitoring, transcription, or processing.
Configuring the Services appropriately for your jurisdiction and use case.
Ensuring that the use of the Services does not violate the rights of callers or other individuals.
We are not responsible for your failure to comply with applicable call-recording, telecommunications, privacy, or consent requirements.
ReceptionistAI may provide features that allow the AI receptionist to collect appointment information, schedule appointments, or interact with third-party calendars and business systems.
You acknowledge that:
Appointment availability and scheduling information may change.
AI-generated scheduling actions may occasionally contain errors.
You are responsible for reviewing your calendar and business configuration.
You are responsible for ensuring that appointment rules, availability, services, and business information provided to the AI are accurate.
We are not responsible for missed appointments, scheduling conflicts, incorrect bookings, or other business losses resulting from inaccurate information or AI-generated actions.
You retain ownership of information, business details, configurations, recordings, transcripts, and other content that you provide to the Services, subject to the rights necessary for us to provide the Services.
By submitting or transmitting content through ReceptionistAI, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to process, transmit, store, analyze, and display that content solely as reasonably necessary to:
Provide and operate the Services.
Process telephone calls.
Generate AI responses, transcripts, and summaries.
Facilitate appointment scheduling and business workflows.
Maintain, secure, and improve the Services.
Provide customer support.
Comply with applicable law.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have all necessary rights, permissions, and legal authority to provide such content to us and to use it through the Services.
ReceptionistAI may integrate with or rely on third-party services, including:
Telephony and communications providers
AI service providers
Cloud hosting providers
Authentication providers
Calendar and scheduling services
Analytics and monitoring services
Payment processors
Apple App Store
Google Play Store
Your use of third-party services may be subject to their separate terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or policies of third-party services.
The Services may offer free trials, subscription plans, usage-based pricing, or other paid features.
Payments may be processed through third-party payment processors, Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or other payment providers supported by the Services.
Billing, subscription renewals, cancellations, and refunds may be governed by the applicable payment provider's terms and policies.
We reserve the right to change pricing, plans, usage limits, or available features with appropriate notice where required by law.
All software, source code, designs, interfaces, branding, logos, workflows, AI systems, documentation, and other materials provided as part of ReceptionistAI are owned by Falguni Parikh or licensed to us.
Except as expressly permitted under these Terms, you may not:
Copy or reproduce the Services.
Modify or create derivative works.
Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code.
Sell, sublicense, lease, or redistribute the Services.
Use our branding or intellectual property without prior written permission.
Your use of ReceptionistAI is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, process, store, and protect personal information, caller information, call recordings, transcripts, and other data.
We will make reasonable efforts to keep the Services available and operational.
However, we do not guarantee that:
The Services will always be available or uninterrupted.
Telephone calls will always connect successfully.
The AI receptionist will always respond correctly.
Third-party telephony or AI services will remain available.
Call recordings or transcripts will always be successfully generated.
Integrations or appointment scheduling systems will always function correctly.
Data or content will never be lost or unavailable.
The Services may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, technical problems, third-party failures, network interruptions, or circumstances beyond our control.
The App and Services are provided "as is" and "as available."
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Services, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
You use the Services at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Falguni Parikh shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App or Services.
This includes, without limitation:
Lost revenue or business opportunities.
Missed or incorrectly scheduled appointments.
Lost or inaccurate caller information.
AI-generated errors.
Incorrect call transcripts or summaries.
Call interruptions or failures.
Data loss.
Business interruption.
Reliance on information provided by the AI receptionist.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Falguni Parikh from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from:
Your use or misuse of the Services.
Your violation of these Terms.
Your violation of applicable laws or regulations.
Your failure to obtain required consent for call recording or processing.
Your content or business information provided to the Services.
Your interactions with callers through the Services.
Your violation of the rights of another person or organization.
We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Services if:
You violate these Terms.
Your use creates a security, legal, or operational risk.
You engage in fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity.
Required payments are not made.
We are required to do so by law.
We discontinue or materially change the Services.
You may stop using the Services at any time.
Upon termination, your right to access and use the Services will end, subject to any applicable data-retention requirements described in our Privacy Policy.
We may modify these Terms from time to time.
If material changes are made, we may notify users through the App, website, email, or other appropriate means.
The updated Terms will become effective when posted unless otherwise stated.
Your continued use of the Services after the updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable to Falguni Parikh, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Services shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law.
