Notes: Rail Data Exchange states that locomotive was transferred to General Equipment Co. in December 1917 and sold to RV in January 1918. Reconstructed tax valuation records from 1928 indicate that No. 9 was purchased in the tax year ended 12/31/1918, for $18,166.42. One locomotive, likely No. 7, was traded into General Equipment Co. and applied towards the purchase of No. 9. Credit was for $4,500.00.
No. 9 had its tender replaced while on the RV. A picture of No. 9, taken at the General Equipment Co. yard in Paterson, NJ, shows it with a tender that was used with No. 11.
