Slot Machine is a study in incremental game design methods. The player earns (or loses) credit by spinning the slot machine. After each one minute of spinning, the player can invest their credit in upgrading the slot machine's symbols to increase their payout. However, the overall cost per spin increases per symbol upgrade. The challenge is both to not get bankrupt due to the ever increasing spinning cost and to come up with an investment strategy that most effectively maximizes your profit.
Slot Machine was a solo project. I developed the app in Unity3D and prototyped the game economy in Excel. I wrote an .xml parser in C# in order to be able directly feed the Excel sheet data into my Unity project.
