Hello! I’m Rafsan Subad, pursuing my Ph.D. in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Maryland (UMD) College Park. I'm also working here as a research assistant (RA) on a project to develop a water based, highly conductive 3D printable ink to fabricate flexible sensors and patch antennas for future electronic applications. I completed my M.S. and bachelor from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, and Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) in 2022, and 2019 accordingly. 

I have a strong inclination towards the newest phenomena discovered in material science and finding out the reasons behind it. I have an ambition to be a prominent researcher in the future. My research interests are on the nano-materials and their mechanical behaviors. During my past times, I like to read books, travel and keep pace with national and international affairs!
