I am a tenured Assistant Professor (Universitair Docent) in Mathematics at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Before, I was a Group Leader and a Minerva Fast Track Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences, where I am still affiliated.
Moreover, I am an Elected Member of the Inaugural Cohort of the European Mathematical Society Young Academy (EMYA).Â
I hold a VU Startpremie grant and a VENI grant.
Besides research, I enjoy several activities including swimming, swing dancing, and storytelling.
My mathematical nickname is Graphaella.
