I am Rafael, a physics 4th year PhD candidate. I am enrolled at the physics program in Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte , under the supervision of Prof. Rodrigo G. Pereira and a member of the Quantum Information and Quantum Matter group at the International Institute of Physics in Natal.
My interests are on questions which lie in the foundations of quantum information/computing theory, which sometimes intersects with other areas of theoretical and mathematical physics. Some of the stuff I have been working on:
The intersection between quantum error correction and the theory of quantum phases of matter;
Quantum verification of magic ✨;
Quantum complexity of quantum field theories and holography;
Non-commutative polynomial optimization for bootstrapping (many-body) correlators;
