Cardiac MRI (CMR)

This syllabus covers theory and practical application for cardiovascular MR. Emphasis is given on MR physics to assist the candidates to understand artefacts and optimize sequences. In this syllabus, trainee will have practical experience in trouble-shooting and post-processing. Cardiac MRI training curriculum/topics:

· Shunts in congenital heart disease

· Vascular and aortic abnormalities

· Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) assessment

· Valvular heart disease

· Structural defect in congenital heart disease

· Cardiac tumours and pericardial disease
