DMCA Time Constraints

Please be advised that DMCA takedown requests typically involve a certain processing time, which can take several days to take effect. This timeframe exists due to various factors such as technical limitations and procedural requirements.

These include:

1. Submission: The copyright owner or their designated agent submits a DMCA takedown notice to the App, explicitly identifying the copyrighted work(s) being infringed and providing sufficient information to locate the infringing material.

2. Reviewal and verification: The request is reviewed and to verify the authenticity of the takedown notice, ensuring it meets the legal requirements outlined in the DMCA. This step aims to protect against false or fraudulent claims.

3. Notification and removal: Once the takedown notice has been verified, the infringing content is removed from the directory of media once these have been all properly located and identified. The directory is typically hosted on an online database. Once removed from the database, it may still remain in the User's device. This happens when the device(s) has no access to network or Internet or has no means to connect to our database to update necessary components. The App in these device(s) would need to connect to the Internet to receive a notice to initiate the deletion process of data, and if the user's app is on the scheduled timeframe to receive updates. The App in these device(s) in technical terms, follows a regular cyclic schedule in receiving deletion data prerogatives and only when the necessary updated components are received can the App perform work or work in a set time interval. One potential limitation to this is if the User does not update to the latest App version which may fix any programming bugs or general anomalies that may prevent in the deletion of data, or device quirks that limit the Android service or background work implementations.

Considering the steps involved and the various parties involved (Copyright owners, App representatives), it is important to understand that the DMCA takedown process cannot be instantaneously executed. Therefore, please be patient while waiting for the takedown request to take effect.
