An innovative solution to combat bicycle theft, which has become a growing concern in developing countries. DiChokro is composed of two key components: a physical device installed on the bicycle and an Android-based application. The device is equipped with a GPS module, allowing real-time location tracking, a sensitive vibration sensor to detect unauthorized movement, and a processor to manage the system. These components work in tandem with the Android app, which connects through the cloud, providing users with essential features such as the ability to search for secured parking locations and track their bicycles. The system is designed to be affordable, with a production cost of less than $30, making it accessible to a broad range of users.

DiChokro is particularly effective by including the vibration sensor, which immediately alerts the owner through the app if the bicycle is tampered with. This added layer of security enhances the effectiveness of GPS tracking by providing immediate warnings of potential theft. The system’s design prioritizes simplicity and low cost, making it a feasible solution to the widespread issue of bicycle theft. The combination of GPS, cloud integration, and vibration sensing in one affordable package offers a robust security solution that can deter theft and assist in recovery if it occurs.
