Because RabbitFocus is an adult-content blocker and productivity tool, we believe your browsing data is entirely your business. Therefore, RabbitFocus is designed to be 100% local and private.
RabbitFocus does not collect, transmit, distribute, or sell your personal data.
Local Storage Only: All of your settings, custom block lists, and browsing history metrics (such as time spent on websites) are saved locally on your device using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.local.
No Cloud Servers: We do not have access to your data. It is never sent to our servers, because we don't use any servers to process your browsing data.
No Accounts Required: You do not need to create an account, provide an email address, or log in to use the extension.
RabbitFocus utilizes an AI vision model to detect and blur explicit images. This AI processing happens entirely on your local device.
Images from the websites you visit are never uploaded to the cloud or sent to any external server for analysis.
The analysis is performed instantly within your browser using a local AI engine.
To function properly, RabbitFocus requires specific Chrome browser permissions. Here is exactly what we use them for:
storage: Used exclusively to save your extension settings, custom keywords, and local browsing statistics on your machine.
tabs and webNavigation: Used to check the URLs of the websites you visit in real-time so the extension can block restricted sites and track your focused time. This data never leaves your computer.
Host Permissions (<all_urls>): Required to run our local AI image scanner and content blocker on the web pages you visit to protect you from explicit content.
RabbitFocus does not integrate with any third-party analytics trackers, advertising networks, or data brokers. Your usage remains completely anonymous and private.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time if we add new features that require different permissions. Any changes will be reflected with an updated "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
