headers and titles with be stylized in ALL CAPS. along with this, the term R8ISH (including aliases), any of the five colors' names specified in the color palette above, and all official releases (singles, EPs, albums, etc.) released in 2026 and later are also stylized in ALL CAPS.
examples: "OLDER TIMES" (single by R8ISH) and the header above this text.
body text (sometimes called normal text) and buttons are stylized in all lowercase with proper grammar and punctuation.
subtitles' stylization adapts to compliment the text near it, however, subtitles will always appear in one of two styles:
1) stylized in ALL CAPS (using the same rules as headers, titles, releases, etc.)
2) stylized in all lowercase (using the same rules as body text and buttons).
text that does not fall into the categories above is stylized as ALL CAPS. pre-stylized text (such as the brand names iPhone or YouTube) is written as-is, unless it is typed in an area where the text around it should be all caps, in which case it will be all caps like the rest of the text around it.
example: "sample text using the word iPhone" versus "SAMPLE TEXT USING THE WORD IPHONE"
the R from the official logo is written in Glitch Goblin from GGBotNet [1]. Glitch Goblin is a commercial-use font created by GGBotNet. the creator of this font has granted free use to anyone using the font, with the prohibition of reselling/redistributing the font as your own (under the SIL Open Font License, Version 1.1).
all other text (titles, headings, body text, etc.) should be written in the top-most available font listed below:
1) Cabin (Medium)
2) Cabin (any other type)
3) Outfit
4) Arial (or the default font available)
headers and titles are colored GLOSS / white (#FFFFFF). body text is colored gray (#CCCCCC). subtitles or example lines are typically colored dark gray 2 (#999999). if background color THE DEEP DARK (#0D0D0D) is not available, use black (#000000) instead.
title styled text is 45px, or the largest setting if exact pixel-sizing is unavailable.
heading stylized text is 35px, or the second largest setting if exact pixel-sizing is unavailable. however, if there are only two sizes available, headings are also the largest setting possible.
subheading stylized text is 20px, or the third largest setting if exact pixel-sizing is unavailable. however, if there are only two sizes available, headings are the smallest setting possible.
body text (or normal text) is 15px, or the second smallest setting if exact pixel-sizing is unavailable. however, if there are only two sizes available, body text (or normal text) is the smallest setting possible.
subtitle text (or small text) sizing changes based on circumstances, however it typically falls between 8px and 15px. subtitle text is usually italicized.
titles, headings, and subheadings are always bolded if possible. if not, leave it.
body text (or normal text) is not bolded or italicized.
subtitle text (or small text) is not bolded, however, is sometimes italicized.
line spacing 1.15 is typically used on all forms of text. line spacing 1 can also be used due to the inconsistencies in some websites in their spacing patterns. line spacing should look as similar to this paragraph as possible.
headings and subheadings with body text below them should have a paragraph spacing of 0px before, 10px after if possible. any text with subtitles (or small text) below it should have 0px before, 10px after if possible. all other text should have a paragraph spacing of 0px before, 0px after. if other custom paragraph spacings are used, they should always be in multiples of 5.
new paragraphs should have one empty new line in between the previous paragraph and the new paragraph.
