Rahul Kumar Singh

Welcome! I am Rahul. I come from Rohtas district in Bihar.  I completed my early schooling from Bihar. I went to Madhya Pradesh and completed my 10+2 (PCM) in Gwalior. I then came to Delhi for my Graduation. I completed  B.A. Hons. Economics from Delhi University and went on to do M.A. in Economics from Banaras Hindu University in Uttar Pradesh. Currently I am pursuing PhD in Economics at IIT Guwahati.

I like Economics. Particularly, I am more inclined towards research in agriculture. I have published work in the field of commodity derivatives market. Main plank of my research is critical aspects of the current agricultural pricing, marketing and procuring policies with a focus on highlighting and suggesting alternatives with empirical findings. I have been presenting my research work in conferences all over India.

As a research scholar at IIT Guwahati, I did teaching-assistant duties. I have been involved in giving tutorials to BTech. and M.A. students. I have also contributed to preparing and delivering of training material for STATA and R to the students. 

Currently, I am working as an Assistant Professor in Department of Economics, Jain (Deemed-to-be University).
