If you want a dedicated accessory to secure your existing Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 during intense movement, choose QYTOJQX Galaxy Buds 2; if you need a complete set of open-ear wireless headphones designed specifically for situational awareness and long-duration exercise, choose APZXTRK Open Ear Earbuds.
These two products solve completely different problems, even though they both end up in the same conversation about fitness audio. One is an add-on strap meant to keep a specific earbud model from disappearing, while the other is a full Bluetooth headset engineered for active lifestyles where hearing your surroundings is just as important as the music. Choosing between them isn't about which one sounds better or costs less; it is entirely about whether you already own a pair of buds you trust and fear losing, or if you are starting from scratch looking for a new way to listen while moving.
• QYTOJQX Galaxy Buds 2: Its biggest strength is preventing loss during vigorous activity with a silicone tether that keeps the earphones attached to your neck; its trade-off is that it is merely an accessory, not a standalone audio device, and it offers no water resistance itself. This pick is for owners of Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 who have dropped their earbuds before and want a safety net.
• APZXTRK Open Ear Earbuds: Its biggest strength is the open-ear design combined with Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity, allowing you to hear traffic and conversations while listening to music; its trade-off is the lack of active noise cancellation and the requirement to purchase a whole new unit rather than modifying existing gear. This pick is for runners and cyclists who prioritize environmental awareness over isolation.
• The Bottom Line: If you already have the Galaxy Buds 2, buy the QYTOJQX strap. If you need a new pair of headphones for running, buy the APZXTRK set.
The QYTOJQX product is not a pair of earbuds; it is a specialized lanyard designed exclusively for the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2. You will see this clearly in the specifications because the item weight is listed at a mere 0.01 kg, and the dimensions describe a thin cord rather than an electronic device. The primary function here is purely physical security.
This accessory is made from fine organic silica gel, which the manufacturer describes as skin-friendly and soft to the touch. The middle position of the rope features a special anti-slip texture, intended to prevent the cord from sliding around your neck uncomfortably during workouts. It comes in a Lilac color, matching the case of the Galaxy Buds 2, suggesting a focus on aesthetics alongside utility. The installation process is described as taking only a few seconds, allowing you to attach or remove the leash quickly before a workout begins.

You should buy this product if you are an active person—someone who runs, skis, skates, dances, or rides a bicycle—and you currently own the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2. The product description explicitly lists these activities, emphasizing that the strap is perfect for yoga, fitness, jogging, and all sorts of vigorous sports. If you have ever struggled to find your earbuds after removing them or worried about dropping them into the dirt during a run, this accessory addresses that specific anxiety directly.
However, you should skip this product if you do not own the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2. The compatibility list is strict, mentioning only Samsung Galaxy S21, S20, S10, Note20, and Note10 models as compatible phones, but crucially, the earphone compatibility is limited to the Galaxy Buds 2 shell type.
The APZXTRK Open Ear Earbuds represent a fundamentally different approach to fitness audio. Instead of trying to secure a traditional in-ear bud, this product abandons the in-ear canal entirely. It utilizes a half-in-ear, clip-on design featuring a C-shaped titanium alloy bridge. This material choice is significant because titanium bends without losing its shape, ensuring the earpiece fits comfortably on various ear sizes for all-day wear. The total build weight is listed at 64 grams, which includes the earbuds and the carrying case, making it a lightweight option for extended use.
The core value proposition here is situational awareness. Because the earbuds are open-ear, they allow ambient sound to reach your ears naturally. This makes them ideal for outdoor runners, cyclists, or commuters who need to hear traffic, pedestrians, or gym announcements. They connect via Bluetooth 6.0 (noted as 5.4 in some sections of the product info, but consistently high performance), offering a stable wireless connection up to 33 feet away from iOS and Android devices.
Battery life is another key factor for anyone considering these for long training sessions. The single charge delivers up to 6 hours of playtime, which covers most standard workouts. The charging case provides additional power, bringing the total playback time to over 30 hours. Recharging takes approximately 1 hour, and the case features a USB-C port for convenience. The controls are touch-based, allowing you to manage volume and calls without fumbling for buttons while moving.
You should choose the APZXTRK Open Ear Earbuds if you are looking for a fresh pair of headphones specifically for exercise. They are versatile enough for office use, commuting, and light workouts. The dynamic driver and frequency response range suggest clear audio quality suitable for music and podcasts.
On the other hand, you might want to skip these if you require deep isolation from the world. While they offer passive noise reduction, they cannot block out loud gym machines or busy street noise like sealed in-ear buds would. Additionally, if you are sensitive to the feeling of anything touching your ear canal, you might prefer these; but if you dislike the sensation of anything outside your ear, the clip-on design might feel unusual at first. These are best suited for adults who value safety and comfort over total sound isolation.

In my opinion, the right choice depends entirely on what you are trying to achieve with your next audio purchase. If you are already frustrated by dropping your Galaxy Buds 2 during a run or worrying about misplacing them in the gym locker room, the QYTOJQX strap is the smartest investment. It solves a real problem with minimal effort and cost, turning your current earbuds into something more secure for exercise. However, if you are ready to buy a new pair of headphones and your priority is safety while running outdoors, I recommend the APZXTRK Open Ear Earbuds. I would personally choose the APZXTRK set for daily running because being able to hear the road is more valuable to me than the extra bass isolation of sealed buds.
The APZXTRK Open Ear Earbuds are designed for workouts and described as sweat-resistant, making them suitable for vigorous activity, whereas the QYTOJQX strap has no water resistance rating and is not a waterproof product itself.
