Join us for the 28th Annual UWL 5k Turkey Trot Fun Run & Walk! UWL's Turkey Trot is La Crosse's original Trot and is a popular Thanksgiving tradition for many friends and families throughout the region! The event includes a costume contest, coloring contest, and Junior Gobbler races which feature a dash and half-mile race for younger trotters.

Race photos will be taken along the course and at the finish provided by 3PIXstudiosfor FREE! You will receive an e-mail with a link to these photos within 2-3 days after the event. Welcome to the Turkey Trot Dallas Costume Contest, where creativity meets fitness! This year, we are looking for the most impressive, innovative, and hilarious costumes that will make us all want to gobble up some laughter! The Turkey Trot Dallas Costume Contest is open to all event participants who love to have fun and don't mind showing off their silly side. So whether you're a turkey, pumpkin pie, or pilgrim, we want to see your unique twist on the traditional Thanksgiving-themed costume.

Participating on your own? Pick a date November 18-26 and use our race timing app or smart watch to track your 5K progress, log your official time, and see where you stack up against all the other virtual running turkeys!

Water will be available before and after the race at the southwest corner of Front Street and Walnut Street. There are no water stations on the course, so please be prepared if you anticipate needing more hydration during your trot.

The 13th Annual Tonka Turkey Trot will be held on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, Nov. 23, 2023 at Minnetonka High School in Minnetonka, MN. Our run has a family-friendly focus, allowing runners and walkers of all abilities to participate. Come dressed in your best turkey themed costume!
