This Privacy Policy explains how AJ Labs Ltd, operating Quran Captions (“AJ Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, processes, stores, and shares information when you use the Quran Captions mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

The information we process depends on the features you use.
When you use Quran Captions, we may process:
Videos, audio recordings, images, and other media you select, upload, record, or create.
Quran caption projects and related project information.
Caption text, translations, timing information, editing preferences, and project settings.
Information and media submitted when using AI-powered or automated features.
Support requests and other communications you send to us.
Subscription and purchase status provided by the Apple App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat, or other authorized billing providers.
Quran Captions currently does not require you to create a user account.
When you use the Service, we or our service providers may automatically process certain technical information, such as:
Device and app identifiers.
Device type and operating system.
App version.
Language and general region.
Feature usage and interactions.
Crash reports, diagnostic information, and performance data.
Subscription entitlement status.
Credit balances or usage allowances, where applicable.
Generation or feature-usage information.

The exact information collected may depend on your device, operating system, app version, enabled features, and the service providers used by Quran Captions.
Quran Captions may request access to certain device features when necessary to provide functionality you choose to use.
Quran Captions may access videos, images, audio, or other media that you select in order to:
Import media into a project.
Add Quran captions or translations.
Create or edit videos.
Generate AI-assisted recitation videos.
Save or export finished content.
Where supported, Quran Captions may use the device's system media picker so that you can choose the specific media you want to provide.
Microphone access may be requested when a feature requires you to record audio, recitation, or video with sound.
Camera access may be requested when you choose to use a feature that records video or captures content directly within Quran Captions.
If Quran Captions offers notifications and you enable them, notification permission may be used to provide relevant updates, such as notifying you when requested processing or generation is complete.
You can manage device permissions through your device settings.
Some features may not function properly if the permissions they require are denied.
We use information as reasonably necessary to:
Provide, operate, and maintain Quran Captions.
Import, process, edit, render, and export content you request.
Generate and synchronize Quran captions.
Provide translations and other requested content features.
Provide AI-assisted editing and content-generation functionality.
Generate recitation-video content when requested.
Process subscriptions, purchases, credits, usage allowances, and premium entitlements.
Restore eligible purchases.
Provide customer support.
Diagnose crashes, errors, and performance issues.

We do not use your media merely because it exists on your device. Media is processed when you select, upload, record, or otherwise provide it for functionality within the Service, subject to the permissions and technical behavior of your device.
Some Quran Captions features use artificial intelligence or other automated processing.
When you request an AI-powered feature, information necessary to perform that request may be processed by us or by service providers that help us provide the feature.
Depending on the feature, this may include:
Media you provide for processing.
Audio or information derived from audio.
Captions and translations.
Editing instructions or prompts.
Timing information.
Project configuration.
Other information necessary to produce the requested result.
We aim to use verified sources for Quran Arabic text and do not intend AI systems to rewrite, fabricate, or replace verified Quran Arabic text.
However, automated systems can make mistakes. You should review Quran text, translations, captions, timing, references, and AI-assisted results before publishing or relying on them.
Quran Captions may offer paid subscriptions, credits, consumable purchases, or other premium features.
Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are processed by the applicable platform.
We do not receive your full payment-card information from Apple or Google.
We or our subscription-management providers may receive information necessary to determine purchase and subscription status, such as:
Product purchased.
Subscription status.
Entitlement status.
Renewal or expiration information.
Transaction or purchase identifiers.
Storefront or platform information.
This information is used to provide and manage access to paid features.
We may provide information to service providers that help us operate Quran Captions.
Depending on the features you use, these providers may include:
Cloud infrastructure and hosting providers.
Subscription and entitlement-management providers.
Analytics providers.
Crash-reporting and performance-monitoring providers.
AI and automated-processing providers.
Media-processing, rendering, storage, or delivery providers.
Stock-media providers when you choose to use stock content.

Your videos, audio, images, and projects remain your content.
Depending on the feature, media may be processed:
Locally on your device;

By a service provider required to perform a feature you requested.
We do not claim ownership of your personal videos, recordings, images, or other media merely because you use Quran Captions to process them.
Where media must be transmitted to a server or third-party processor to perform a requested feature, it will be handled as described in this Privacy Policy.
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including to:
Provide requested features and services.
Complete media processing or generation.
Maintain subscription and purchase information.
Maintain security and prevent fraud or abuse.
Diagnose technical problems.
Meet legal, accounting, regulatory, or compliance requirements.
Resolve disputes and enforce agreements.
Temporary media or processing data may be deleted after processing when it is no longer required to provide the requested functionality, subject to technical, security, backup, and legal requirements.
Projects stored locally on your device may remain until you delete them, clear the application's data, or uninstall the application, depending on the platform and how the feature operates.
Because Quran Captions currently does not require a user account, there is no Quran Captions account that you need to delete.

Deleting Quran Captions or its data does not automatically cancel an active Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Subscriptions must be managed through the applicable app store.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or misuse.
However, no internet transmission, storage system, software application, or security measure can guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate security for your device.
Quran Captions and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country in which you live.
Those countries may have privacy and data-protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction.
Where required by applicable law, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal information.
Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:
