QuoteYard is a quoting tool for contractors. This policy explains what the app

does with your information. It is short because the app does very little with it.

## The short version

QuoteYard has no servers. Your properties, measurements, quotes, rate card, and

business details are stored **only on your device**. We cannot see them, and we

never receive them.

## Information stored on your device only

The following never leaves your phone unless you share it yourself:

- Properties you measure: outlines, areas, labels, and coordinates

- Map snapshots of those properties

- Quotes and their amounts, including your client's name

- Your rate card

- Your business identity: company name, phone number, email address, and logo

This data lives in the app's private storage. A quote leaves your device only

when **you** choose to share it, through your phone's standard share sheet, to

an app you pick.

## Information sent to third parties

QuoteYard contains no analytics and no crash-reporting library. There are five

outbound flows, to three companies:

**Mapbox** (map provider)

1. *Map coordinates* — the area of the map being displayed, so satellite tiles

   can be loaded. These are the coordinates of your client's property, not your

   own position. Sent as you move the map; not stored by the app.

2. *Address searches* — the text you type in the search field, so a property can

   be found by address. Searches are limited to the United States, Canada, and

   Brazil, and return at most five results. Sent only while you type in that field.

3. *Approximate location* — sent once per property, and only if you tap

   "Use my location", so the property can be given a name. Never sent at launch.

**RevenueCat** (subscription management)

4. *Purchase information and an anonymous installation identifier*, so the app

   knows whether your subscription is active and can restore your purchase on a

   new device. The identifier is generated by RevenueCat's software. The app

   never sends your name, email address, or any account identifier.

**Google Play Billing**

5. *Subscription transactions*. Payment is handled entirely by Google Play. The

   app never sees or stores card numbers or any payment details.

All outbound traffic is encrypted in transit over HTTPS, or over Google Play's

own encrypted channel for billing.

## Location permission

QuoteYard asks for location access only when you tap "Use my location", never at

launch. It is used to center the map where you are standing. If you grant only

approximate location, the feature still works. You can decline, and every other

part of the app continues to function.

Deleting your data

QuoteYard has no servers and no user accounts. Everything you create stays on

your device, so you delete it yourself, from the app or from Android settings.

There is no request to send us and no waiting period.

### Delete one property

1. Open QuoteYard and go to the PROPERTIES screen.

2. Tap DELETE on the property you want to remove.

3. Confirm. The confirmation names the job site so you cannot delete the wrong one.

Deleted immediately: the property, its outlines and measured areas, its map

snapshot, and any draft quotes attached to it.

Kept: quotes you have already sent, and the confirmation tells you so. A sent

quote is a commercial document you handed to a client, and it must stay readable

and reprintable. Sent quotes also carry the count used for the free-quote

allowance. They contain no data that was ever shared with anyone. To remove them,

delete all app data, below.

### Delete everything

Either uninstall QuoteYard, or go to

Settings > Apps > QuoteYard > Storage > Clear data.

Deleted immediately and permanently: all properties, outlines, measurements, map

snapshots, all quotes (drafts and sent), your rate card, and your business

identity — company name, phone number, email address, and logo.

Android's automatic backup is disabled for QuoteYard, so nothing is restored

afterwards. There is no copy anywhere else.

### Data held by other companies

To have data deleted by the companies listed above, use their own procedures:

- Mapbox — https://www.mapbox.com/legal/privacy

- RevenueCat — https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy

- Google Play — https://myaccount.google.com

Cancelling a subscription does not delete data on your device, and deleting data

on your device does not cancel a subscription. Subscriptions are managed in

Google Play.

## Children

QuoteYard is a professional tool for contractors. It is not directed to children

and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

## Your rights

Because your data stays on your device, you control it directly: you can view,

export (by sharing a quote), and delete it at any time, without asking us. For

the limited data held by Mapbox, RevenueCat, and Google, please refer to their

privacy policies. If you have a request or a question, contact us at the address

## Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material

changes will be described in the app's release notes.
