Quota: Shared Daily Budget
Last updated: October 2, 2026
Quota: Shared Daily Budget is a shared-budgeting app. It works out how much you can spend per day based on your income, your expenses, and the end date you choose.
This Privacy Policy explains what data the app needs to provide its services, how that data is used, and what we do — and do not do — with it.
This policy covers the Android app Quota: Shared Daily Budget (package com.ddplay.presupuestocolaborativo) and its web version (quota-budget.web.app), both published by David Dallavia, which use the same account and the same data, as well as the backend services they rely on to operate, including Firebase, Google Play Billing, and Google AdMob.
The app is developed and published by David Dallavia, as an individual developer.
For any questions about privacy, your personal data, or this Privacy Policy, contact:
Email: davidallavia@gmail.com
We only collect the data the app needs to function.
We do not collect location, camera, microphone, contacts, or device storage data. The app does not request permissions to access this information.
You sign in exclusively using your Google account.
We receive:
Your name
Your email address
Your Google profile photo
A unique account identifier (UID)
There is no separate username or password managed by Quota: Shared Daily Budget.
We store the information you enter when using the app, including:
The name and dates of each budget
Movement amounts
Movement type (income or expense)
Categories
Optional descriptions you provide
This information may include data about your personal financial situation.
If you invite someone to a shared budget, we store the email address used for the invitation.
Once that person accepts the invitation, their name, email address, and Google profile photo may become visible to the other members of that shared budget.
For more information about what collaborators can see, see Section 06 — Visibility Between Collaborators.
To operate certain app features and supporting services, we may process:
A Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token, used to send push notifications
Your device's configured language
The Firebase installation identifier automatically generated by Google to operate its SDKs
If you purchase a Premium subscription, the payment is processed by Google Play.
We do not receive or store your credit or debit card details.
We store information necessary to manage and verify your subscription, including:
Your plan status (Free or Premium)
Subscription expiration date
Whether the subscription automatically renews
The purchase token provided by Google for subscription verification
If you use the Free plan, the app displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob.
AdMob may collect the Android advertising identifier and technical device information to select, deliver, and measure advertisements.
Premium users do not see ads, so this advertising-related processing does not apply to them while their Premium subscription is active.
3.7 Analytics and Diagnostics Data
We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand how the app is used and to catch errors.
This may include usage events (for example, creating a budget, adding a movement, inviting a collaborator, or closing a budget), technical device information (model, operating system, language), your approximate location (derived from your IP address, typically at the country or region level), and, if the app crashes unexpectedly, a crash report with the error trace.
This information is not used to identify you personally outside the app and is not shared for advertising purposes.
3.8 Web Version Data
If you use the web version, we additionally store:
The date you first used the web version and the date you last used it (updated at most once per day), used to understand how many people use the web version compared with the Android app
Your preferred "main" budget, if you choose to pin one on the budget list
To work faster and use less data, the web version keeps a temporary copy of your budgets and movements in your browser's local storage. This copy is deleted when you sign out.
The web version does not display ads and does not use Firebase Analytics.
3.9 Security and Abuse Prevention
To protect the service against bots and automated abuse, we use Firebase App Check:
On Android, it uses the Google Play Integrity API, which checks that requests come from a genuine copy of the app installed from Google Play, running on a genuine Android device.
On the web version, it uses Google reCAPTCHA (Google Cloud Fraud Defense), which may collect hardware and software information, such as browser and device data, and send it to Google for analysis.
This information is used only to verify that requests are legitimate. Use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and Terms of Service (https://policies.google.com/terms).
We use the information described above to:
Calculate and update your maximum daily budget
Sync budgets between you and your collaborators in real time
Send push notifications, including daily reminders, notifications about other collaborators' movements, and invitations
Manage your Premium subscription and enforce Free-plan limits
Display advertisements to Free-plan users as part of the app's free tier
Display the app in your configured language
Operate, maintain, and secure the app
Understand how the app is used and fix technical errors (Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics)
Protect the service against bots and automated abuse (Firebase App Check)
Understand how many people use the web version compared with the Android app
We do not use your data to profile you outside the app, and we do not sell your personal data.
We do not sell your data.
We share or process data only with service providers necessary for the app to operate. These are currently Google services:
Google Firebase — Authentication, Firestore, Functions, Cloud Messaging, Hosting, App Check, Analytics, and Crashlytics
Used for sign-in, storing budgets and movements, calculating daily budgets, backend functionality, and sending push notifications, usage analytics, and crash reporting.
Google Play Billing
Used to process and manage Premium subscription payments.
Google AdMob
Used to display advertisements to Free-plan users. This does not apply to Premium users while their Premium subscription is active.
Google Play Integrity API
Used on Android to verify that requests come from a genuine copy of the app installed from Google Play.
Google reCAPTCHA (Google Cloud Fraud Defense)
Used on the web version to verify that requests come from real users and not from automated bots.
These providers process information according to their respective terms and privacy policies. Their systems and servers may process or store data outside your country.
Quota: Shared Daily Budget is designed to allow multiple people to share a budget. It is therefore important to understand what information is visible to other members.
Within the same shared budget, collaborators can see information associated with that budget, including:
The name and profile photo of other members
Movements entered into the shared budget
Movement amounts
Categories
Descriptions
This information is visible regardless of which collaborator entered the movement.
People who are not members of that shared budget cannot access this information through the app.
All communication between the app and our backend services is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.
Access to information stored in Firestore is controlled through server-side security rules.
These rules are designed so that users can only read or write budgets that they own or belong to.
Calculated fields, including totals and the daily budget, can only be written by our backend services and cannot be written directly by a client application.
While we use reasonable technical measures to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
We keep your information while your account is active.
A budget that has been closed, either because its end date has been reached or because you manually closed it, is not automatically deleted. It remains available in your history until you delete it.
Deleting a budget also deletes its associated movements and invitations.
If your account has no activity for more than 24 months, we may automatically delete the account together with its associated information, using the same general scope as a manual account deletion described in Section 09.
If you have an active Premium subscription at that time, the account will not be automatically deleted while that subscription remains active.
You may contact us at any time to request access to your personal data, ask us to correct it, or request deletion of your account and associated information.
Depending on where you live, applicable privacy laws may provide you with additional rights regarding your personal information.
You can delete your account directly from the app:
In the Android app: Profile icon (top right) → Delete account
In the web version: Profile picture (top right) → My account → Delete account
Once you confirm the deletion, the process is immediate and irreversible.
Account deletion removes your account and associated information, including:
Budgets you own
Your movements
Your memberships in shared budgets
Associated invitations
Your account information
You do not need to email us or wait for manual processing when using the in-app deletion option.
If you cannot access the app, email davidallavia@gmail.com from the same email address you use to sign in, and we will process the deletion request for you. We will process deletion requests received by email within 30 days.
You may also delete an individual budget directly from within the app at any time without contacting us.
Quota: Shared Daily Budget is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under that age.
If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information without appropriate consent, contact us at davidallavia@gmail.com and we will take appropriate steps to remove that information.
Free-plan users may see advertisements served by Google AdMob to support the free version of Quota: Shared Daily Budget.
Premium users do not see advertisements while their Premium subscription is active.
If you are located in the European Union, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the app may ask for your consent regarding personalized advertising when required.
