Apex Logic ("we," "our," or "us") operates the QuizSelf mobile application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our app and the choices you have associated with that data.
1. Information We Collect When you use QuizSelf, we collect the following types of information:
Host Accounts: If you register as a host, we collect your name, email address, mobile number, city, country, and organization.
Participants: When joining a quiz, participants provide a name and an optional email address.
Quiz Data: We store the questions, answers, scores, and time taken for each quiz attempt.
Usage Data & Device Information: We may collect information such as your device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and diagnostic data.
2. How We Use Your Information We use the collected data for various purposes:
To provide and maintain the QuizSelf platform.
To manage host accounts and participant quiz attempts.
To generate and send quiz analytics reports to hosts.
To improve our services and fix technical issues.
To display relevant advertisements via Google AdMob (for free-tier users).
3. Data Storage and Security Your data is stored securely on Google Firebase servers. We use Firebase Authentication for secure login and Firebase Realtime Database for storing quiz data. While we use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, remember that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
4. Third-Party Services and Advertising We use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:
Google Firebase: Used for authentication and database hosting.
Google AdMob: We use AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may use advertising IDs and cookies to show personalized ads. You can opt-out of personalized advertising in your Android device settings (Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization).
5. Data Sharing and Visibility We do not sell your personal data to any third party. Quiz results are visible only to the host who created the quiz and the platform administrator. Participant names appear on the leaderboard of the specific quiz they attempted.
6. Data Deletion
Hosts: Host accounts and their associated data can be deleted by contacting us directly.
Participants: Participant data is automatically removed when a quiz is deleted by the host.
7. Children's Privacy QuizSelf may be used by students under the supervision of a teacher, parent, or institution. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children under 13 without parental or institutional consent. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
