This privacy policy applies to the QuizScholar app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Great Vision Studio (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as an Ad Supported service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
Information Collection and Use
The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include:
Device Information: Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g., IP address), operating system, and device type.
Usage Data: The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, and the time spent on those pages.
Identifiers: To provide ads and notifications, the Application collects Device IDs and Advertising IDs (AAID).
Account Data (Premium & Cloud): To manage your VIP status and save your progress across devices, we store your User ID, Email, and Subscription Status securely in the cloud using Supabase and Firebase.
The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device (GPS).
Third-Party Data Collection
Our third-party partners automatically collect certain data to provide their services. This includes Device Identifiers (like the Android Advertising ID), Approximate Location (derived from IP address), and App Performance/Diagnostics (crash logs).

User Generated Content (UGC) and Moderation
This app allows users to create profiles (names and photos) and interact with others in multiplayer modes. By using the app, you agree to these terms:
Visibility: Your profile name and picture will be visible to other players during gameplay and on leaderboards.
Reporting & Blocking: Users have the ability to block other users and report objectionable content. We review reports within 24 hours and take action against users who violate our policies, which may include temporary or permanent account bans.
No Tolerance: We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users.
Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
The Application uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies (powered by Groq API) to generate quiz questions and enhance user experience.
Responsibility: The Service Provider remains responsible for all AI-generated content shown in the Application.
Reporting Mechanism: Users have the ability to flag or report any AI-generated content that is factually incorrect, offensive, or inappropriate directly within the app settings.
Review Process: We manually review reported AI content and take necessary actions to filter or correct it.
Disclaimer: While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally be incorrect. Users are encouraged to verify facts independently.
Data Retention Policy & Account Deletion
The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter to ensure service continuity.
Your Right to Delete Data: If you wish to delete your QuizScholar account and all associated data, you do not need to reinstall the app. You may request the permanent deletion of your data at any time using one of the methods below.

Requirement: Please send this email from the same Gmail address linked to your QuizScholar account so we can verify ownership.
What happens next?
Verification: Our team manually verifies requests to ensure security. We may send a confirmation email to your registered address.
Deletion: Once verified, your User Profile, Game History, Coin Balance, and Premium Status will be permanently removed from our servers (Firebase, Supabase, and Cloudinary) within 30 days.
The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.
The Application is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case the Service Provider discovers that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider (gvstudioapp19@gmail.com) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. All data transfers between the App and our servers (Supabase/Firebase) are encrypted via SSL/TLS.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
