Thank you for using Quiz For Hire, an interview preparation app that helps job seekers generate AI-powered interview flash cards based on job listings.

Your privacy is extremely important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect, sell, or use personal data for advertising, tracking, or profiling.

Quiz For Hire only processes minimal, anonymous data required to provide core functionality, manage credits, and process in-app purchases.

a) Device & App Information (Anonymous)

Used only to ensure stability and debugging:

• Device model

• Operating system

• Cannot identify you

• Is not used for analytics, ads, or tracking

b) Job Listing Input & Quiz Generation

When you generate a quiz:

• Your job listing URL or pasted job description is securely sent to the OpenAI API

• It is used only to generate interview flash cards

• It is not linked to your identity

Quiz For Hire does not analyze or profile your job searches.

OpenAI may temporarily process this input according to their own Data Usage Policy.

c) Generated Quiz Content (Local & Optional Cloud Storage)

Generated quizzes may be stored:

• Locally on your device

• In anonymous storage if you choose to save them
  
  

Stored quiz data contains:

• Interview questions

• Model answers or correct answers

• Difficulty labels
  
  

It does not contain:

• Your name

• Email address

• Job application history

• Personal identifiers

d) In-App Purchases & Anonymous User ID (Supabase)

To manage credits securely, Quiz For Hire uses Supabase with anonymous user records.

We store:

• A randomly generated anonymous User ID

• Your credit balance
  
  

We do not store:

• Name

• Email address

• Google / Apple account

• Payment method

• Job listings

• Quiz prompts linked to identity
  
  

Why this anonymous User ID exists:

• Keep your credits consistent across sessions

• Restore purchases

• Prevent fraud

• Ensure reliable credit syncing
  
  

Where this data comes from:

• App-generated anonymous User ID

• App Store / Play Store purchase tokens (non-personal)
  
  

No personally identifiable information (PII) is stored.

e) Local App Storage (On Your Device Only)

Stored locally on your device:

• Anonymous User ID cache

• Saved quizzes

• App preferences
  
  

You can delete all local data at any time by uninstalling the app.

f) Optional Feedback Submissions

If you choose to submit feedback, the following may be sent to a private feedback system:

• Rating (e.g. helpful / not helpful)

• Optional written feedback

You remain anonymous unless you manually include personal information.

2. How We Use Information

We use minimal data only to:

• Generate interview flash cards

• Process in-app purchases

• Stores anonymous User IDs and credit balances

• No personal identity is stored

Apple App Store / Google Play Billing

• Provide purchase tokens and product IDs

• We do not receive your payment or account details

Feedback Services

• Only if you choose to submit feedback manually

We do not share data with advertisers or analytics platforms.

4. Data Security

We take strong measures to protect your data:

• All communication uses HTTPS encryption

• Supabase stores only anonymous credit records

• No accounts, passwords, or emails required

• No personal identity is stored

5. Your Rights

Because Quiz For Hire does not store personal data:

• There is no personal profile to access or edit

• No personal data is sold or shared

If you wish to delete your anonymous User ID and credit record, you may contact us and we will remove it manually.

6. Children’s Privacy

Quiz For Hire is intended for users 18 years and older.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves.
Any changes will be reflected in the app or on our official listing.
