Anyone who schedules or starts a meeting will be the meeting host. If you transfer or schedule a meeting on someone else's calendar, the other person could become the meeting host. By default, there's only one meeting host per meeting but you can add up to 25 co-hosts once inside the meeting.

After the meeting, a question report is emailed to the moderator. The email includes a list of questions that were asked, hidden, moderator approved, or deleted along with the names of the people who posted the questions.

You will be considered a United States resident for tax purposes if you meet the substantial presence test for the calendar year. To meet this test, you must be physically present in the United States (U.S.) on at least:

You were physically present in the U.S. on 120 days in each of the years 2021, 2022 and 2023. To determine if you meet the substantial presence test for 2023, count the full 120 days of presence in 2023, 40 days in 2022 (1/3 of 120), and 20 days in 2021 (1/6 of 120). Since the total for the 3-year period is 180 days, you are not considered a resident under the substantial presence test: for 2023.

Engineers do all this, and more! Answer a few short questions and find out how YOUR skills and passions could lead to an exciting job in the future. Whether you're just starting out, or ready to think about your next step, this is the quiz for you.

Software engineers design, build and test computer programs. They talk to customers to understand their needs and then help to set up the systems to meet those needs. They also diagnose and resolve system faults.

Meet the Future You quizzes young people on their skills and interests to identify different areas of engineering they might enjoy working in in the future and is available as an app on both Android and iOS and as an in-browser quiz.

That's why we're bringing you Meet Your Mayor, our quiz that asks you and the candidates the same questions so that we can "match" you with the candidate who's closest to you on key issues. It's kind of like one of those matchmaking apps where you answer a bunch of questions and then you get matched with someone who shares your interests and values.

As usual with these clickbait quizzes, and yes I clicked obviously, the questions varied wildly, often irrelevant and some downright insulting. When you have to choose music and absolutely none of the choices are remotely applicable it makes this quiz laughably inept and again, clickbait to push a booksale.

I know. The problem here is that if none of the music applies (I like mid-60s jazz and early-80s rock and anything by Beethoven) and none of the drinks apply (scotch for my adult moments, cola the rest of the time) and maybe other questions do not apply, then it kinda indicates none of the books would apply either, which defeats the whole purpose of the quiz.

Wow, people take silly quizzes way too seriously. A fun way to spend 5 minutes! I definitely would love to see the other results though: I ran through the quiz twice and got Legends & Lattes and A Strange & Stubborn Endurance (both of which I absolutely adore) and need more recommendations.

Yes, certain affirmative action obligations apply even if the contractor does not meet the thresholds requiring written AAPs. All covered contractors have the obligation to take affirmative action and ensure nondiscrimination in all of their employment practices. See 41 CFR 60-1.4, 60-300.5, and 60-741.5. Covered contractors are those that have any number of employees and have contracts valued in aggregate at more than $10,000 (Executive Order 11246), a contract valued at more than $15,000 (Section 503), or a contract valued at $150,000 or more (VEVRAA). Examples of affirmative action requirements that apply to all covered contractors include the following:

Contractors that have at least 50 employees and also meet the contract value thresholds under Executive Order 11246, VEVRAA, and/or Section 503 are required to develop and maintain written AAPs. The components of a written AAP address both nondiscrimination and affirmative action obligations. Written AAP components include the following

No, OFCCP regulations do not permit quotas, preferences, or set asides. They are strictly forbidden. Placement goals (under Executive Order 11246), utilization goals (under Section 503), and hiring benchmarks (under VEVRAA) are not to be interpreted as a ceiling or floor for the employment of particular groups of persons but, rather, should serve as a benchmark against which the contractor measures the representation of persons within its workforce. Placement goals, utilization goals, and hiring benchmarks are not rigid or inflexible quotas to be met but, rather, standards of measurement of how a contractor is fulfilling its affirmative action obligations. When a contractor fails to meet a utilization goal or hiring benchmark, the contractor assesses its employment practices and takes appropriate measures to address identified problem areas and remedy potential discrimination. Such remedies may include assessing and revising policies and practices that hinder employment opportunities, broadening recruitment and outreach to increase the diversity of applicant pools, and/or instituting training and/or apprenticeship programs to increase promotion opportunities and applications from underrepresented groups.

With online and hybrid meetings, virtual icebreakers can help make your video conference call more personal and allow your colleagues to get to know each other better and enjoy some social time.

This is an ideal virtual icebreaker for recurring meetings. If you and your team meet regularly, you can turn this into a tradition and run one quiz question at the start of every one of your meetings.

During our recent Brand Team meeting, our colleague, Sabine, shared a Zoom Whiteboard with us and asked us to draw our current mood on it. So we channeled our inner Basquiat and came up with something that remotely resembles art. But it was so much fun, we swear!

Note: Are you running your meetings in a hybrid setup? Then make sure that each of your on-site team members joins the video conferencing call from their own device so they can participate in the activity.

Share some laughs with your teammates on the call. Before your next all-hands or town hall meeting, set a theme and ask your colleagues to pick a virtual background image that, for them, represents it best.

But setting up appointments with all the friends, professional acquaintances and corporate executives you can is just the first step. More important is knowing what to say once you arrive. Wasting contacts' time is unacceptable, so you should prepare an agenda before each meeting. Decide what you would like to find out and prepare questions to elicit that information.

Individuals filing applications directly to the Commission using the CSU, SAT/ACT, or AP exams to meet the basic skills requirement must submit original passing score reports with their application packet. Scores posted only on high school transcripts are not acceptable. Commission-approved program sponsors or local employing agencies may submit a photocopy of the score report as long as the program sponsor or agency has verified it actually received from the educator an original score report, not a scanned or PDF copy.

The Out-of-State Basic Skills Exams Chart provides a guide for examinations from other states that may be accepted for use toward meeting California's basic skills requirement. The Chart is only a guide and is subject to change.
