Welcome to Quitzz ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

We only collect information that is strictly necessary to provide you with a gamified quit-smoking and breathing experience.
Account Information: When you sign in using Google Sign-In, we collect your email address, name, and a unique user identifier (UID) provided securely by Firebase Authentication.
App Progress Data: To track your reduction plan and rewards, we store your breathing session completion stats, total savings, daily savings, cigarettes avoided, and earned reward coins inside our Google Firebase Firestore database.
2. How We Use Your Information:
We use the collected data solely to keep your app experience personalized and functional:
To authenticate your identity and keep your account secure.
To sync your Reward-Coins, reduction plans, and breathing history across your devices.
To provide tailored motivational insights using the Google AI Studio / Gemini API based on your current progress data.
3. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services:
We value your privacy and never sell your personal data to third parties. We only share data with trusted infrastructure providers necessary to run the app:
Google Firebase: Used for secure authentication and cloud database storage.
Google AI Studio (Gemini API): Session stats are securely processed to generate custom health motivation tips. No personal identity is shared with the AI models.
4. Data Security:
We implement robust server-side security measures through Firebase to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
5. Data Retention and Deletion:Â
We retain your personal information, habit logs, and quit-smoking progress data only for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide you with the application's services.
Retention Period: We securely retain user data stored in Firebase for the duration of your account's existence. Inactive account data is automatically purged after 14 months of total inactivity.
Your Deletion Rights: You retain full control over your data. If you wish to delete your account and clear all stored Firestore progress history (including your email records and logged Reward Coins), you can request permanent data deletion at any time by contacting us at quitzz00001@gmail.com. All requested data is permanently erased from our databases within 30 days.
Local Data: Any local cache or temporary data stored on your device can be wiped immediately by clearing the app data in your phone settings or uninstalling the app.
