This Privacy Policy describes how the QuitPuffs mobile application ("QuitPuffs", "the App", "we", "our", or "us") handles your information. QuitPuffs is published by Binduprasad Balineni. By installing or using QuitPuffs you agree to the terms of this policy.
SUMMARY
QuitPuffs is designed to be private by default. We do not operate any backend servers, we do not run any analytics or tracking, and we do not transmit your puff logs, health information, or personal data anywhere. All app data is stored only on your iPhone in Apple's secure local storage and never leaves your device through QuitPuffs.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
QuitPuffs does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data with us or with third parties. The information you enter into the App, including but not limited to puff logs, daily limits, nicotine strength, mood and craving entries, achievements, streaks, and settings, is stored locally on your device using Apple's Core Data framework and remains under your control. We have no ability to read, access, export, or back up this information.
HOW WE USE LOCAL DATA
The information you enter is used exclusively on your device to power the App's features: counting puffs, computing analytics and trends, calculating savings and streaks, surfacing achievements, and rendering the home and lock-screen widgets. Aggregated data is shown only to you within the App and is never transmitted off the device.
4. SUBSCRIPTION BILLING
QuitPuffs offers an auto-renewable subscription called QuitPuffs Premium ($0.99 per month after a 7-day free trial for new subscribers). Subscription purchase, renewal, billing, and cancellation are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit framework. We do not see, receive, or store your Apple ID, payment method, billing address, name, or any other identifying information associated with your transaction. Subscription receipts are validated on-device using cryptographic verification provided by iOS. NOTIFICATIONS
QuitPuffs uses Apple's local notification framework to deliver reminders such as the optional evening reflection reminder and limit warnings. These notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device. We do not use push notifications and we do not send any data to a notification server.
6. SIRI AND SHORTCUTS
QuitPuffs registers App Intents for Siri so you can log a puff or check your count by voice. Siri requests are processed by Apple according to Apple's privacy practices and are not transmitted to us.
WIDGETS
The home-screen and lock-screen widgets read information from a shared App Group container on your device. No widget data is transmitted off the device.
8. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
QuitPuffs does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, attribution, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs. The App uses only Apple's first-party frameworks: SwiftUI, Core Data, StoreKit, WidgetKit, App Intents, and User Notifications.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
QuitPuffs is intended for adults who currently use vaping products and want help reducing or quitting. The App is not directed to children under the age of 17 and does not knowingly collect any data from children.
10. SECURITY
Because all of your data lives only on your device, the security of that data depends on the security of your device. We recommend keeping your iOS up to date and using a device passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID. If you delete the App, all locally stored QuitPuffs data is removed by iOS.
YOUR RIGHTS
Because we never receive any of your data, there is no data on our side to access, export, correct, or delete. You can view, modify, or delete all of your data directly inside the App's Settings tab, including a "Reset All Data" option.
12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected within the App's Settings.
