This page provides a concise, official guide for the App Store review team and end‑users, describing the purpose, features, and basic usage of Quit Clock.
Quit Clock helps users break unwanted habits or dependencies—such as gambling, pornography, smoking, or excessive social‑media use—by visualising abstinence streaks and the money/time saved, and by capturing triggers in real time.
Timer & Counter
Counts days since the last occurrence of the target behaviour. The counter continues in the background even if the app is closed.
Money / Time Saved
Enter daily cost or time; the app multiplies this by elapsed days to show totals.
Trigger Notes
One‑tap entry to log the situation or emotion whenever an urge arises.
Negative Consequences Notes
Record the downsides that would occur if the behaviour resumes; view them in one list.
Alternative Activities Notes
Register healthy or relaxing alternatives to perform when an urge appears.
Daily Notifications
Choose from psychology‑based templates or write your own message to reinforce the habit each day.
Paid Reset
If the user relapses, resetting the counter costs ¥1,000 / ¥5,000 / ¥10,000 via In‑App Purchase, leveraging loss‑aversion psychology.
Multi‑language UI
13 languages, including English and Japanese.
Dark‑mode‑only UI
Fixed dark theme for better OLED battery life and reduced glare.
On first launch, register one habit to quit.
• Enter name, daily cost/time, last date of use, and the reset fee (¥1k / ¥5k / ¥10k).
• Note: The target habit cannot be edited later.
The Home screen shows elapsed days, money saved, and time saved in real time.
When an urge occurs, tap +Note → Trigger and record the situation.
If you relapse, tap Reset → pay the preset fee → the counter resets to 0.
In Settings you can change notification time/message and—when deleting a habit—choose either “reset days only” or “delete all data for that habit”.
All user data is stored locally in Secure Store; nothing is uploaded to any server.
No ad SDKs or tracking SDKs are included.
The app does not collect or transmit personal info, contacts, or location.
5.FAQ
• Uninstalling the app deletes all data (local-only storage).
