Your legacy Quill files will not be editable after the shutdown. If you would like to use your Quill files after the shutdown, you must move your files to ONE by Micromac's new Quill. Here's how you can do that.
Migrate your files to ONE by Micromac.
First, find your file type of your Quill files. On different devices, legacy Quill saves as different formats sometimes.
If you are using .webarchive files, visit the following link: https://github.com/bmjcode/pywebarchive, then press "Version 0.5.2" under Releases
If you are using .pdf files, you do not need to convert.
If you are using .mhtml files or .html files, open one in your browser, press Command+P on Mac or Control+P on Windows, or whichever you use on Micromac and save as a PDF.
Now your file should be a .pdf file. Now, you can move it to Quill on ONE by Micromac.
As we all know, Quill and Treverse are moving to ONE by Micromac on August 30, 2024 as part of our digital workspace integration of Qlix, Quill, and Treverse. If you are leaving the Quill family, here's how to export your data.
Mac (or Mac client running Micromac):
Open Finder.
Locate your Quill (.webarchive) files.
Open the one you want to convert in Safari.
Once loaded, use the Command+P command.
Click PDF.
Click Save as PDF.
Windows (or Windows client running Micromac):
Go to this page: https://github.com/bmjcode/pywebarchive, then press "Version 0.5.2" under Releases and run the software.
