Yes, the Clean Towels can be reused. Their fabric remains strong when wet and is durable enough to be gently wrung out. To reuse: rinse them by hand, and hang them to dry. Once dried the fabric will remain soft and pliable. However, we do not recommend reusing them for skincare. If you are making direct contact with your skin, the Clean Towel should then be tossed and not reused. Quick tip- after you dry your face with a Clean Towel, wipe the excess water off of your counter before throwing them out!
These are the absolute best! Great for making sure that you are not drying your clean face with germs and who knows what else. I use a makeup removing balm, and use a wet Clean Towel to take off the makeup as a first step, and another to dry my face after washing. My skin has never felt cleaner!
Genius, the best feeling when you realize it is the ultimate replacement for typical bath face cloths. Skin feels as if you have just had a spa facial. The best part the XL size provides cleaning for morning and night before disposing. Gave boxes for Christmas gifts.
For clogged pores, try the double cleansing method. This two-step routine uses natural oil (i.e., castor, olive, or sunflower) to remove dirt and then requires a mild face wash to help wash away the oil.
Dip a cotton swab into micellar water, makeup remover, or natural oils to remove makeup around the eyes. A cotton swab helps you gently tackle tightly lined areas without tugging on your skin.
The best way to determine how you should wash your face is to figure out your cleansing goals. Do you want it to be quick, one-step, once a day? Then determine your limits, like skin type, water cleanliness, and price range, and go from there.
Limit washing to twice a day and after sweating. Wash your face once in the morning and once at night, as well as after sweating heavily. Perspiration, especially when wearing a hat or helmet, irritates the skin. Wash your skin as soon as possible after sweating.
Many people don't realize that your skin is the largest organ in the body, but it is![1]XResearch source Skin has the very important job of protecting the body from infections and germs, so it is important to help your skin out by taking care of it. Different parts of the body require different cleaning techniques, but the best way to take care of your skin is to make cleaning it a part of your daily routine.

Moisten enclosed sponge with warm water and rub across cleansing bar to create a creamy lather. Gently massage onto face using small circular motions, allowing the lather to remain on the face for one to two minutes. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and gently pat skin dry. Rinse sponge and wring out excess water. Do not put back inside the jar. Allow the sponge to fully dry on top of the lid of the jar. Eye sensitivity can occur; avoid directly cleansing the eye area.
If I have sensitive skin should I use this bar?
For sensitive skin, we recommend that you try our Even Tone Gentle Gel Cleanser. You could also try using this bar without the exfoliating sponge.
Is it normal for my skin to feel irritated, red or peel after using this product?
No. If you are experiencing irritation, redness or peeling, it could be caused by a few other things: you may be scrubbing too hard with the sponge, your skin is too sensitive for this cleanser, you are using this product with too many exfoliating products and/or not giving your skin enough hydration. We recommend that you try our gentler cleansing options, Even Tone Gentle Gel Cleanser or LacticGlow Micropolish Resurface & Brighten Cleanser.

Surfactants in skin cleansers interact with the skin in several manners. In addition to the desired benefit of providing skin hygiene, surfactants also extract skin components during cleansing and remain in the stratum corneum (SC) after rinsing. These side effects disrupt SC structure and degrade its barrier properties. Recent applications of vibrational spectroscopy and two-photon microscopy in skin research have provided molecular-level information to facilitate our understanding of the interaction between skin and surfactant. In the arena of commercial skin cleansers, technologies have been developed to produce cleansers that both cleanse and respect skin barrier. The main approach is to minimize surfactant interaction with skin through altering its solution properties. Recently, hydrophobically modified polymers (HMPs) have been introduced to create skin compatible cleansing systems. At the presence of HMP, surfactants assemble into larger, more stable structures. These structures are less likely to penetrate the skin, thereby resulting in less aggressive cleansers and the integrity of the skin barrier is maintained. In this paper, we reviewed our recent findings on surfactant and SC interactions at molecular level and provided an overview of the HM technology for developing cleansers that respect skin barrier.
