Pawel Chmiel (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the QuietCam mobile application (the “App”) for iOS and Android. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.
The App captures photos, videos, and audio recordings. When you use the Private Gallery feature, all media is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
On iOS, if you choose to save media to your system Photos library, it is handled by Apple’s Photos framework on your device.
On Android, if you choose to save media outside the App, it is stored using Android’s standard media storage mechanisms on your device.
If you purchase QuietCam Pro:
On iOS, transactions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store.
On Android, transactions are processed entirely by Google through Google Play.
We use RevenueCat, a third-party service, solely to manage subscription status across supported platforms. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and purchase receipt or transaction data from the respective app store (Apple App Store or Google Play).
We do not collect your name, email address, payment card details, Apple ID, Google account information, or any other payment credentials.
We do not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking frameworks. We do not collect usage data, device identifiers, IP addresses, or location data.
We use purchase receipt or transaction data solely to verify your subscription status and unlock Pro features. We do not use your information for any other purpose.
All media files (photos, videos, and audio) are stored locally on your device. We do not operate any servers that store your personal data.
Subscription status is managed through RevenueCat’s secure infrastructure. For details on how RevenueCat handles data, please see their Privacy Policy at:
https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
The App uses the following third-party services:
Apple App Store (iOS): processing in-app purchases and subscriptions.
Google Play (Android): processing in-app purchases and subscriptions.
RevenueCat: subscription management using anonymous purchase data.
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties.
We do not have access to your media files.
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Since all media is stored locally on your device, you have full control over your data. You can delete any recordings from within the App or by deleting the App itself.
To manage your subscription:
On iOS, use Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
On Android, use Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by the “Last updated” date at the top. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
